Job Responsibility:
· Managing the procurement process for goods and services, including the sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of materials needed for operations.
· Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.
· Negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms for goods and services, while maintaining high quality standards.
· Developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize costs, improve efficiency, and reduce lead times.
· Define and maintain documented category and supplier strategies using market and competitive data.
· Coordinating with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide timely delivery of goods and services.
· Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of final product.
· Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets.
· Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy.
· Perform regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements.
· Create monthly performance reviews and reports focusing on overall sourcing requirements.
· Ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliances in all the procurement transactions.
· Adopt appropriate supplier management methodologies and procurement strategies in purchasing to secure better prices.
· Train team on effective procurement processes and strategy.
· Coordinate with vendor on continuous quality improvement.
· Issue of Purchase Order, updating of Purchase Orders status and Project Cost updating.
· Managing inventory levels and controlling inventory costs
· Coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
· Managing logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
· Monitoring and tracking shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolving any issues that may arise during the transportation process.
· Collaborating with logistics partners to optimize transportation routes and costs, and ensure efficient distribution of goods.
· Evaluating and selecting logistics providers based on their ability to meet service requirements and cost-effectiveness.
· Continuously reviewing and improving procurement and logistics processes to drive efficiency and cost savings.
Job Requirements:
· Degree/Diploma​ in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
· Knowledge of import and export regulations.
· Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
· Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management processes and best practices
· Fluency in English and Chinese, both written and oral to liaise with associates
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
