Clinical Care

Basic Roles & Responsibilities

• This above role will work closely with the Head of International Finance to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with regional and corporate objectives.
• Provide financial insights, leveraging data analysis to support international business performance and growth.
• Support the Head of International Finance in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Oversee international financial operations, accounting, cashflow management and reporting.
• Monitor financial KPIs and provide necessary updates to the Head of International Finance.
• Ensure all financial activities comply with the relevant countries’ accounting regulations, tax requirements and corporate policies.
• Manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with JGAAP, IFRS and relevant tax laws.
• Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Act as the primary liaison between Head of International Finance and Japanese stakeholders.
• Support interpretation and translation between Japanese and English for the Head of International Finance and Japanese Headquarters to ensure clear communication.
• Promote best financial practices and sharing within the organization.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Accounting, Economics or equivalent
• At least 10 to 12 years’ relevant work experience
• Extensive experience with ERP systems, particularly with advanced modules in SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Possess native or business level proficiency in Japanese and English language (spoken & written)
• Possess ability to manage complex projects in fast-paced environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

( A ) JOB SUMMARY

The Customer Services Associate is responsible to present a welcoming experience to patients and customers In the lobby and at the entrances into Thomson Medical Centre (TMC). He/She is responsible for smooth hospital operations, display consistent excellent service level to all internal external customers at all times, including duties assigned by Senior Guest Services Officers, Guest Service Officers, Assistant Manager and Senior Manager, Guest Services.

( B ) PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greeting and Assistance: Welcome patients, visitors, and doctors at various entrances and counters. Enquire about their purpose of visit and offer directions or assistance.
• Crowd Control and Directional Assistance: Provide crowd control during discharge times and directional assistance to patients and visitors.
• Luggage Assistance: Help patients with their luggage and belongings during admission and discharge.
• Queue Management: Assist with obtaining queue numbers and advising on necessary documents for admission.
• Patient Transfer: Transfer patients within the hospital, including from admission to ward, operating theatre, and during discharge.
• Hospital Items Management: Receive hospital items like gift packs, perform stock-take, deliver items to patients, and keep records of hospital inventory.
• Wheelchair Availability: Ensure wheelchairs are available for emergency use and operate wheelchair lifts when required.
• Patient Triage: Triage patients seeking admission at the Patient Service Centre and fast-track admission if necessary.
• Support and Coverage: Provide support and cross-coverage for colleagues from Concierge and Bellhop during their breaks or absences.
• Administrative Assistance: Assist PSC staff with preparing blank case-notes, photocopying package details for financial counseling, and clearing reception areas of deliveries.
• Location Assistance: Help patients locate tenant clinics, including those in Novena and other peripheral clinics.
• Temperature Screening: Perform temperature screening duties on weekends, public holidays, or as assigned.
• Other Duties: Cover duties of other team members during their absence and perform any other assigned tasks.

Primary Duties

• Assist in the maintenance of mechanical, electrical installations and equipment.
• Carry out routine inspection and servicing of the hospital's mechanical and electrical installations, building and associated facilities, air conditioning units, plumbing and sanitary systems and equipment.
• Undertake and assist the Project Department on renovation work when necessary.
• To assist the maintenance engineer in the management and maintenance of the hospital building
• To assist the maintenance engineer to plan, coordinate and oversee ad hoc maintenance work, whether carried out by in-house or by external contractors.

Requirements

• At least a NITEC or Higher NITEC in Air-conditioning / Electrical / Mechanical / Mechantronics / Building Services with minimum 2 to 3 years of experience, preferably in a hospital environment

• Able to work rotating shifts/night, 5 days work week

JOB SCOPE

Guest Relations Officer will assist the Front Office Manager in providing good customer service to guests and walk in guests.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Attend to guests enquiries, complaints and follow up on the complaints made by guests.

2. Assist in attending to guests check in and check out as and when needed when there is a shortage of manpower for the Front Desk Reception Officer.

3. Escort guests to their allocated guest rooms and show them the amenities in the room.

4. Periodically check lobby elevators, door and front driveway to ensure it is not overcrowded.

5. Assist in the billing of guests invoices.

6. Ensure that Bell hops and Doorman are available to attend to transfer the luagages of the guests from their hotel rooms to the Front Desk Counter to carry out their check out registration.

7. Perform other ad-hoc duty as assigned by HOD.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Possess a Certificate in Hotel Accommodation from SHATEC or any private training institute.

2. At least two (2) years of relevant working experiences in the hospitality industry.

3. Customer oriented and with good working attitude.

4. Able to work independently and as well as a team.
