XCL American Academy is seeking to recruit an experienced and passionate Drama & Dance Teacher to teach students from Pre-K to Grade 8. This is a full time 2 year contract position starting from 1 August 2024.

Preference will be given to teachers who have relevant experience in American Common Core Curriculum, as well as a clear track record of teaching in international school settings.

Main Responsibilities

• Teachers should be willing to contribute positively to the collaborative culture of the School.
• Demonstrates professional ethics, international mindedness and the school’s mission.
• Adheres cooperatively to XCL policies and regulations, including duties, deadlines, programme requirements.
• Seeks clarification in case of lack of clarity in order to fully meet all expectations of the role and sets and maintains consistently high standards.
• Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment documentation.

Person Specifications
