ALG is currently recruiting Engine Inspectors for a world-leading aerospace OEM and MRO company. This position is a long-term contract role with an option to convert to permanent after 6 months.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed inspection of engines parts & components per manuals and technical work publications
• Perform dimensional inspection using various precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, computer measuring machine and borescope equipment
• Perform engine level inspection per manuals and technical work publications
• Interpret technical work instructions such as Service Bulletins or equivalent work instructions
• Perform daily work tasks per Quality work procedures and guidelines
• Support and participate in EH&S, Quality, Ethics and Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives
• Perform various other duties as assigned by Workshop Engineer/Manager

Job Requirements:

• Minimum NITEC or Higher NITEC in Precision /Aerospace/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technology. Diploma will be advantageous
• Minimum 2 years work experience in detailed inspection in relevant aviation industry

Job Description:

• To plan, manage, oversee and be responsible for all aspects of the health, safety and environmental matters for the Project.
• To advise and report to Developer and ensure the Project complies with its statutory obligations.
• To be responsible for health, safety and environmental control, update the Safety Management System Manual and to ensure that all works adhere to the procedures and instructions.
• To manage the team of Assistant Safety Managers and ensure all duties and responsibilities required of they are discharged professionally and competently.
• He shall prepare a monthly status update for review with Developer but not restricted to the following
• To keep up to date with changes in current legislation and to bring to the attention of the Project Superintending Officer(s) any relevant new legislation.
• To ensure the notification of the Project Superintending Officer(s) if the corrective action agreed after any workplace inspection is not implemented by the arranged date.
• To vet and endorse the minutes of all safety-related meetings and other meetings as directed by the Developer.
• To ensure the implementation and monitoring of appropriate safety measures in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act.

Requirement:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in construction industry preferably 3 years with developer/main contractor
• Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM and have been practicing as WSHO for at least 3 years
• Has developed a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent
• Good communication skills and team player
• Must be able to clear any internal security checks conducted by the Singapore Government

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attend to all walk-in residents, including updating feedback provider on the action taken;
• Utilise system to check past feedback cases or create new cases;
• Issue events/facilities booking permits as and when required;
• Reply to feedback emails & calls;

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma/ITE in chemical engineering, pharmaceutical or biotechnology equivalent

• Basic skills and knowledge in Fermentation Cell culture, Bioreactor processing, Media and Buffer Preparation and downstream processing is an added advantage.
