Responsibilities:

• Schedule projects and plan resources while considering dependencies.
• Develop evaluation criteria (e.g., critical points) and coordinate with departments like IT and Compliance.
• Respond to regulatory requirements and support administrative tasks.
• Manage project issues, create reports and documents for management, and track progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Scheduling project and resource planning ensuring that resource allocation is optimized and dependencies across all projects are considered.
• Provide support to PMs in the Trade Finance business area, including project lead and management.
• Standardize project management processes, such as constructing reporting structures and determine reporting content.
• Coordinate cost and resource allocation across Trade Finance, working with Cross-Functional PMO and Business Area PMs.
• Manage progress and issues involving Business Analysts, User Task members, and Developers in Trade Finance.
• Communication and negotiations among Business (Transaction Banking Section, Operations, Front Office) and IT to ensure alignment with goals and deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet needs and expectations.
• Make decisions in coordination with stakeholders, balancing requirements and deadlines.

Basic Requirements:

• Extensive PMO Experience in Core banking, trade finance, or corporate lending projects.
• Proven ability to lead PMO tasks independently.
• Experience in the banking industry as a bank employee or consultant providing services to banks.
• Familiarity with package system implementation, such as CGITrade360 or ACBS.
• Strong knowledge in Trade Finance.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and a proactive mindset to tackle challenges and risks.
• Hands-on experience in interacting with users to gather and refine requirements and Strong focus on creating user-friendly and efficient automation tools will be an advantage.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing excellent investment advice for a dedicated group of investors, and will be the centre of a servicing ‘gold standard’. The key areas will cover all aspects of Wealth Management and in managing private client relationships which will incorporate investment analysis, client discussions, marketing and promotion.

A brief description of responsibilities as follows:

• Supporting the Client Advisers (RM) to provide excellent advice to high net worth clients & investors, maintaining a high standard of service quality in all work and output
• Partnering Client, Business Support and Third-Party Service Providers to ensure relevant product access as well as competitive pricing for clients
• Ensure all client portfolios are in-line with clients’ needs, objectives and risk appetite
• Provide market updates to clients, prepare reports related to the portfolio, as well as specific product performance
• Prepare investment reviews and periodic portfolio reviews, which include portfolio rebalancing and asset allocation calibration
• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of any in-house funds and portfolios
• Take ownership of proposals and follow ups new prospects
• Perform Periodic due diligence and ensure relevancy of clients’ documentations
• Adhering to the MAS regulatory requirements and achieving compliance standards at all times
• Develop strong hands-on understanding of the client services function. While this is not a day to day responsibility, complete understanding of client services function is critical for the incumbent to succeed in this role

The incumbent will be expected to show initiative, be assertive and highly independent in their work. Strong communication skills, a highly pleasant demeanour, the ability to take on responsibility and ownership are must haves.

Professional and Technical

Min 3 years of relevant experience from wealth management or private banking areas.

A keen interest in the regional wealth management industry – an aptitude to service the needs of UHNW/HNW clients: mainly Expatriate, Singaporean, Malaysian, and other client groups is essential.

A strong understanding of complex client requirements, acting as the clients’ key interface in direct interactions and communication

Sound knowledge of banking products and services including investment products such as mutual funds, equities, bonds, ETF’s and treasury products. Proficiency with financial tools such as Bloomberg and Microsoft Excel required. Knowledge in VBA and other programming language such as SQL preferred but not necessary.

The incumbent must have strong analytical, written and spoken English skills. Relevant banking &/or finance qualifications will be highly regarded.

Regulatory Requirement

All necessary qualifications as required by the MAS must be acquired within a 6month period from commencement of employment.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Communications or Computer Engineering with 10 - 15 years’ experience in managing large scale infrastructure projects.

• Possess relevant SCADA/ Control Systems knowledge
• Assertive and possess strong leadership qualities
• Strong project management skills
• Possess PMP certification will be added advantage
