The role of a Reefer Technician is to perform Plugging/Unplugging operations in container yards,
at PSA Container Terminal.
JOB DUTIES
• Prior to the commencement of operations, all personal protective equipment (PPE) i.e.
uniforms, safety helmets, safety shoes, Reefer gloves, and any other necessary
safety gear must be worn.
• Perform plugging/unplugging of reefer containers.
• Using a tablet to record plugging/unplugging status.
• Performing temperature monitoring duties of Reefer containers.
• Performing plugging/unplugging duties within a stipulated time for a certain specific nature of the job.
• Able to perform specific tasks such as repairing faulty cables upon request.
• Reporting to PSA on any exceptions during a tour of duty such as temperature irregularities, faulty
cables, and any other that requires attention.
• Work safely and efficiently, adhering to standard operating procedures and complying
with safety rules and regulations in the operational areas.

• Take safety precautions to avoid accident/incident possibilities
• To report any damages/incidents to superior immediately.
• To attend toolbox briefing prior to commencement of work.
• Observe all instructions and duties briefed by your direct superior.
• To comply with the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Observe and comply to all Workplace Safety standards, Protocols, Duties and Responsibilities
in accordance with the workplace/department you are going to work in.
