About the Studio

Slow Green is a leading studio in Singapore that focuses on designing, making and selling, handmade nature-themed decorations & gifts products. Founded in 2019, Slow Green has been growing quickly on the back of innovative product designs, creative content production and conscientious customer service.

Slow Green has been featured in multiple publications including Business Times, Time Out, City Nomad among others.

We are looking to hire a number of full-time and part-time candidates for the 'Retail Associate/Manager' role. The 'Retail' position is an important and integral member of the team with a range of interesting responsibilities and ample room to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Handles important interactions with customers at our retail outlets, including Plaza Singapura (opening in February 2024) and Joo Chiat, introducing our products, answering customer's questions, and assisting with payments/selling
• To serve one or more retail shifts during the opening hours 10am - 10pm, Monday to Sunday - the exact timing of the shifts to be discussed between you and the manager of Slow Green
• A regular number of days to be spent each month at our studio/workshop to learn hands-on about the making process of the products

Requirements:

• Full-time applicants or part-time applicants who are able to commit at least 20 hours a week are encouraged to apply
• Prior experience in retail related positions preferred
• Attention to details, and hardworking disposition is a must
• Minimum education level of polytechnic diploma in any discipline required

SALARY:

From SGD4200.00 Starting Salary + Sales Incentive

SCOPE:

Experienced with leadership qualities

Fine culinary skills in western & local dishes (Non-Halal)

Passion in creating special dishes & developing menu

Be independent & responsible

Plan & lead daily kitchen operations

Manage costs, food purchases & inventory

Ensure consistencies in all food servings

Ensure kitchen cleanliness, safety & compliance to food hygiene

Team player that can readily work with the whole team

REQUIREMENTS:

NO academic certification required, we only seek true talent & positive attitude

Possess food hygiene and safety certification

Immediate start work preferred
