Overall Purpose of Job

This role is responsible for the technical design of Services & solutions being led by the Data business unit.

The role is also responsible for supporting the business development of Epsilons data business unit, by providing technical expertise and delivering value for clients by identifying how best our capabilities can address Enterprise client challenges leveraging Epsilon’s global network and carrier interconnects and data product suite.

The SDE will own client solution design from High level pre sales engagement through to low level design and professional service delivery post sales. The SDE will also own the product technical design of services and solutions in Epsilons suite.

The role includes day to day engagement with the Data Business unit and is responsible for defining the low-level and high-level technical service design, testing and evaluation of solutions, technical deployment processes, proactive support monitoring design and network/service performance SLAs. The products will often include use of 3rd party functionality and services offered by our partners which needs to be combined in a single solution and integrated into Epsilons SDN where needed.

The role will also involve working very closely with the software development teams developing Epsilons SDN platform Infiny, enabling new services for order and delivery through Infiny.

There will be close collaboration with the core engineering team to ensure design requirements for new services can be delivered by the network and any new service constructs required, can be developed by the core engineering team. The Children and Youth Group (CYG) in The Salvation Army Singapore serves hundreds of vulnerable children and youth yearly. In line with our vision to provide a continuum of care to uplift those in need, our services span from preventive services, foster care and residential services to reunification support services for vulnerable children returning to their natural families after being removed due to safety concerns. RESPONSIBILITIES

In addition to caring for children and youths, Children and Youth Group - Gracehaven also runs an Interim Placement and Assessment Centre (IPAC) in the residential home. This temporary care environment will allow children under child protection to be in a safe place while assessment into their needs are undertaken to facilitate their placement in the most appropriate care environment.As an Social Work Assistant in IPAC, you shall work hand-in-hand with the Social Workers to care for children and youth at risk.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow up on enquiries.
• Arrange access/visits for appointments with clients.
• Ensure administrative upkeep of documents
• Arrange and prepare documents and cases for Review
• Follow up on social worker's assessment and investigation
• Collate information for Social Worker
• Support admission proceedings
• Support clients and follow up on enquiries
• Report writing and meeting recording
• Keep abreast with changes in statutory and centre requirements
• Coordinate with care giving professionals.
• Undertake any other duties as and when required and in consistent with the position

• Diploma from a recognised institution, Diploma in Social Services preferred

Responsibilities

* After sales maintenance support

* To carry out troubleshooting, basic repair or rectification and servicing jobs on AV/ IT hardware and software

* Manage preventive / comprehensive maintenance, setup, installation and commissioning of AV Systems & Solutions

* To assist Technical Manager or Superior for all tasks and duties

* To assist in handling projects Engineering & Application Support to Sales Team

* Field support for installation and cabling works on site as necessary

* Responsible for system set-up, Testing & Commissioning

Preparation of Service Reports, SOP & Guides for customer as required including Training to users

*Project Management

* Assist in System Programming

* Proficiency in troubleshooting on Audio-Visual and IT related system deployed

* Any other technical roles & responsibilities as necessary

Requirements
- Min NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in IT/Electrical/Mechatronics/Electronics Engineering

- Hardworking, willing to learn and positive attitude

- Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage

- Able to work independently

- Preferably at least 1-year relevant working experience

- Able to communicate in Mandarin with customers and suppliers is preferred

- Monday to Friday 5 days week

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Concept Design Engineer to lead innovative design initiatives and support the Mechanical Integration Development team for hearing aids. This role will enhance the team’s design expertise and best practices through cutting-edge mechanical solutions.

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of Behind-The-Ear (BTE) hearing aid concepts, including plastic, metal, and rubber parts, using appropriate software
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies, conduct risk assessments, testing, and proof of concept
• Collaborate with suppliers, research institutions, and experts in hardware, acoustics, and simulation for innovation and development of future hearing aid technologies
• Analyze competitor products and formulate strategic initiatives for new technology in the hearing aid industry
• Contribute to cross-functional and global projects, introduce new engineering concepts, and stay updated on industry trends
• Apply critical thinking and drive project success through initiative, teamwork, and effective execution of forefront technology.

What you bring

Experience

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Product Design stream preferred)
• 5-7 years professional experience working in consumer product design and development
• Extensive design experience with metal, plastic, rubber, and electro-mechanical components, including decorative processes such as IMD, NCVM, and coatings
• Proficient in CAD modeling, Tolerance Analysis, DFMEA, FEA, DOE, DFSS and Product Development Process

About the Role:

As our product designer, you’ll be responsible for creating on-brand products that are smart, easy to use and visually appealing. You should be comfortable defining product specifications, analysing how each product ties in with market demands and consumer preferences, creating digital or hand drawings and producing fully functional products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and review all products, prototypes and samples, and communicate changes to factories

• Research current trends, prints and colours and perform design analysis

• Present concepts through digital or hand-drawn sketches, mood and colour boards

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience

• Skilled in 3D CAD applications (NX, Rhino, Alias, Solidworks, etc)

• Proficient in 2D design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, etc)

• Good command of English and Mandarin to communicate with suppliers in China

• Strong aesthetic sense in regards to product form, material and finishing

• Able to anticipate future industry trends and study consumer behaviour

• Diploma or Degree in Design preferred
