Job Responsibilities
· Teach residential and/or online courses in Biblical Studies (primary emphasis) and other subjects as assigned by the Academic Dean, with a teaching and administrative load of approximately 9-12 credits per semester.
· Provide teaching outlines, review student assignments, and submit grades at the end of the semester.
· Serve as a mentor for class meetings, conduct spiritual assessments for the students, and supervise and mentor students individually as needed.
· Participate in regular faculty meetings and perform administrative tasks as assigned by the Academic Dean.
· Participate in regular prayer meetings with all faculty members.
· Participate fully in the community life of the college (e.g., chapels and combined events).
Job Qualifications
· Agreement with the College’s mission, vision, values, beliefs, and statement of Faith. (See SBC’s Website)
· A completed Doctor of Philosophy degree (or equivalent) in Biblical Studies from a recognized and accredited educational institution.
· Ability in research and writing, with a track record of publications.
· Willingness to use and/or learn the latest educational technology.
· 3-4 years of ministry and/or teaching experience at the College is preferred.
· Fluency in English and Chinese, and Singaporean citizenship or permanent residence is preferred.
