Red Shield Industries (RSI) is the social enterprise arm of The Salvation Army.  By re-using, recycling, and restoring donations in kind from the public and corporations, it generates income through its Family Stores to support our mission to provide holistic care to the community.

RSI also strives to assist humanitarian needs in times of crisis and emergency, leveraging its logistics network to deliver aid to crisis areas in the region quickly and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure that all electrical and electronic equipment, wiring installation, appliances, and peripherals are tested functionally to be in pristine working condition.
2. Ensure that all bulky, furniture, electrical and electronic donated items received are accounted for in accordance to the Collection Note/Service Note and properly handled and placed in respective inbound holding area.
3. Ensure all incoming items are inventoried and keyed into the inventory system.
4. Price all items at a reasonably and practically marketable and retail-able rate.
5. Clean all donated items to retail-able condition before sending to retail stores.
6. Ensure that all items prior to delivery are properly packed, labeled and accompanied with correct documentation before distribution to the various stores.
7. Maintain proper documentation and reports with regular update.
8. Undertake any projects and specific duties as assigned by Management from time to time.

Attended secondary education 

Job Requirements

1. Posses knowledge in troubleshooting electrical and electronic items.
2. Possess basic computer knowledge.
3. Able to perform refurbishing work on the donated electronic items and furniture to retail-able condition.
4. Able to conduct market survey on second hand items price.

Working Hours

5.5 days / 44 hours per week

Mondays to Sundays (including Public Holiday)

8.30am to 6.00pm

* 1 Rest Day per week will be rostered

Job Description:
• Assist Department Leader with planning of daily production activities and issuance of
routine instructions
• Assist Department Leader with planning and scheduling of preventive maintenance
activities
• Ensure that production and quality targets are met by monitoring production and QC
data
• Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with Work Instructions (WI)
• Assist Department Leader with monitoring inventory levels of raw materials,
subsidiary materials and spares, and raise purchase requests when required
• Assist Department Leader with enforcement of Production shift staff discipline
including monitoring production data and reviewing CCTV footage when necessary
• Assist with Document Control relating to production, including maintaining and
updating WI and forms
• Assist Department Leader with troubleshooting of process, equipment problems
• Understand production process to assist with operation adjustments or improvement
proposals due to demands from other stakeholders
• Ensure data entry by Production shift staff is timely and accurate
• Assist Department Leader with compilation of monthly production reports
• Assist Department Leader with data collection and report preparation for in-process
studies and experiments, when required
• Ensure that safety procedures, regulations and other legal obligations are complied

Requirements:
• Diploma in Engineering, Applied Science or other related discipline
• Microsoft Office (especially Excel) skill required.
• Office 365 and Power Platform knowledge is an advantage

The clinic is a GP clinic at Bt Gombak .As a clinic assistant , the candidate will need to be able to handle and attend to patients, dispense medicine and assist doctor in dressing and simple procedures. Experience is not needed as onsite training will be provided.
