- Be an integral part of the team that provides friendly service to patients.
- Involves using technological equipment.
- Responsible for preparing and safely positioning of patients to obtain the most accurate images.
- Explain to patients regarding the imaging procedures and offer them support, reassurance during the scan.
- Address to any patients’ inquiries/concerns.
- Ensure that all work complies with established safety rules, regulations and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspection on all diagnostic equipment to ensure they are functional and operate efficiently.
Responsibilities
- To perform accurate ultrasound and x-ray of various parts of body.
- Perform diagnostic and screening sonography on various parts of body.
- Perform diagnostic and screening radiography on various parts of body.
- Mammography skills would be an added advantage.
- Uploading of images to Medisol for reporting, uploading or images to USB Drive or printing out to film.
- Document high quality images and practice good patient care.
- Maintenance of record in accordance with MOH requirement.
Job Requirements
- Min Diploma / Degree qualification.
- Need to be AHPC registered.
- Female preferred (need to do breast and pelvis ultrasound).
- Must be a senior with more than 8 years' experience and can train a junior radiographer, serve as a mentor.
- With sonographer license.
