Event Manager
The Event & Registration Manager is self-motivated and works on simultaneous projects with the event management team on the overall development, planning, execution and delivery of activations and projects such as events, exhibitions, conferences, creative insights, production and digital broadcasts. He/she is required to manage work with the project team on daily operations and client management.
Role & Responsibilities
To complete individually based on event requirement and scale, on the following:
ā¢ Develop and implement registration, accommodation, flights and transportation related strategies from pre- to post-event
ā¢ Create and execute proposals with internal and external stakeholders as well as vendors on the event requirements, with high priority on attendee experience and satisfaction
ā¢ Implement test plans for website and applications to fine tune elements for a better user experience, and identify and propose solutions for possible logic flaws
ā¢ Curate content for use in eDMs or social media copies for event marketing purpose, along with planning, coordinating and implementing telemarketing, email or social media marketing strategies
ā¢ Generate high-efficiency report templates (not limiting to Excel and PowerPoint formats) which suit the needs of each stakeholder
ā¢ Demonstrate proficiency in handling registration platforms and applications
ā¢ Plan and allocate resources for pre-event, onsite execution and post-event, ensuring timely delivery of milestones planned out for each project
ā¢ Manage and negotiate contracts for third-party vendors, including but not limiting to registration platform, supplies, hotel accommodation, etc
ā¢ Assist in all facets of hospitality requirements for event VIPs and key stakeholders when required
ā¢ Perform other roles & responsibilities as requested based on business needs
What You Need to Succeed
ā¢ Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the MICE industry or related experience
ā¢ Candidates with prior experience in events management, platform management and/or customer servicing preferred
ā¢ Confident that you are up for challenges (and late nights too)
ā¢ Excellent eye for detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a flair in customer servicing
ā¢ Ability to work well individually and as a team
ā¢ Have the capacity to work under pressure and within tight timelines
ā¢ Strong expertise in Microsoft Office (especially in Excel) and Google Suite applications ā knowing how to handle large data sheets with the use of technical knowledge is an advantage
ā¢ Good command of language (especially in English) be it for written or verbal
