The Procurement Coordinator/Executive is responsible for routine sourcing and purchasing activities to obtain the materials, equipment and services to deliver in timely manner.

He/She should be comfortable engaging and interacting with vendors and other external parties, to fulfil his/her responsibilities in coordinating vendor selection processes, maintaining vendor contract records and databases, and following up on vendors' deliverables.

• Location: Office at Kg Bahru Road, Keppel Distripark
• Working Location: Islandwide [On ship]
• Working Days: 5 Day A Week
• Working hours : 0830 hrs to 1730 hrs [Prepared to work irregular hour due to ship schedule/Public Holiday]
• Salary : Basic $2300 excluding overtime (During peak period OT at least 20 hours) + Allowance depends after probation

Responsibilities:

• To attend / carry out various types of survey on board ship and sites on cargo, cargo measuring equipment and marine related activities.
• To perform marine survey onboard vessels and cargo inspection on sites in order to assess and report on their condition for insurance claim.
• To verify the equipment onboard vessel to ensure compliance with various standards or specifications.

Requirements:

• Nitec/ITE related in marine or Diploma in Nautical, Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering or Marine related from a local polytechnic/private institution.
• Experience onboard vessel will be an advantage.
• Prepare to work at irregular hours including Public Holidays due to ship schedule.
• Opportunity to travel overseas upon satisfactorily performance and skill.
• Successful candidate will be on six months' probation.

• Operate and maintain Audio & Communication equipment.
• Assisting or reporting of Audio /Comms equipment problems and ensure the equipment is repaired on time for next production.
• Operation of Audio mixers for recording / live production.
• To be willing to learn and practice the new technologies used by company that has not been experienced or worked before.
• To be able to direct, instruct and manage assistant engineers and possible system integrators on projects.
• To have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as computer skills.
• To be able to draft technical reports.
• To be able to read technical (Auto CAD) engineering drawings and willing to learn.
• Any other ad-hoc duties.
