Job Summary:

• Execute trades, including but not limited to buying and selling of relevant products, chemicals, and other related products.
• Analyze market trends and price movements, develop trading strategies to maximize company profits.
• Maintain close contact with suppliers and clients, establish long-term cooperative relationships, and handle relevant contracts and agreements.
• Responsible for overseeing risk management during trade execution to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Participate in market research and competitive intelligence gathering, provide support and advice for company decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, risk management, and legal departments, to ensure smooth execution of trades.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or above, with preference given to majors in chemical engineering, finance, economics, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in trading, familiarity with international markets, related laws and regulations
• Strong market analysis skills and trading expertise, ability to formulate effective trading strategies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and partners from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong team spirit, able to collaborate with multiple departments to complete complex trading operations.
• Proficient in MS Office and trading software such as Bloomberg.
• Fluency in Mandarin is required to liaise with Chinese stakeholders

Overview:

Transaction Banking Services (TBS) are to support the commercial development of the Cash Management and Receivables and Supply Chain Finance business, by industrializing execution, digitalizing client relationships, and developing an integrated IT and Operations offering to clients.

• Client Payments & Receipt (CPR): CPR is the back-office team in charge of order processing for incoming and outgoing payments.
• Client Setup Services (CSS): CSS is the back office team in charge of clients account management aiming at ensuring the administrative initiation of client accounts and their technical set up as well as their cheques activities.
• Receivables & Supply Chain Finance (RSF): The team manages and supports supply chain finance transactions (platform in India).

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are listed as, but not limited to the following:

• Assist the Section Head to supervise the front of the house and Club lounge operations.
• In the absence of higher management to make decisions regarding operational problems
• Coordinate and work closely with all departments regarding daily requirements in the Front Office operations.
• Ensure VIP/ Wedding rooms are ready before guests’ arrival.
• Ensure all traces are checked and resolved.
• Ensure the Airlines crews’ keycard is in order.
• To monitor for Travel Agent group arrival
• Ensure all check-in and out procedures are followed.
• Update team members with the latest information.
• Ensure all registration cards are accurate and filled up.
• Always maintain the best relations between management and guests.
• Ensure guests are always given prompt and efficient services by the team.
• Handle all guest complaints professionally, satisfying their needs and safeguarding the Hotel’s interest.
• Ensure all arrival and departure VIPs and Suite guests are taken care of such as rooms are ready with amenities and card, receive and escort guest to room.
• Monitor closely guest’s room folio high balance daily to prevent losses by the Hotel.
• Ensure proper records are maintained and valuable secured in the Front Office Safe Deposit Box
• Responsible for the setting up and updating of the Duty Manager’s Log Entry, Comm Entry and to report all unusual events to the higher management.
• Responsible for all emergency procedures and coordinate closely with the Security Department
• Responsible for all Master Keys and Emergency Key which are strictly for their use only pertaining to operation requirements.
• Liaise with the IT Department on any faults of the system at times of emergency.
• Ensure strict control of the operations of the computer systems and peripherals.
• To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Management.
