Our UI/UX designers are the champions of the end-user, crafting and guiding the user experience for each of our games and products. You’ll work closely with game designers, artists, and engineers to conceptualize, design, and iterate in support of all gameplay features and systems, with the ultimate objective being to deliver the world’s most delightful arcade experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Work with game designers to translate game system requirements into amazing user experiences
• Craft a delightful and consistent user flow for each product’s target platforms (VR, arcade cabinet, desktop, tablet, phone, etc…)
• Create wireframes, concept sketches to support purposed UI interaction models
• Leverage a deep understanding of the product vision to create remarkable visual identities and design languages that support the user experience
• Work collaboratively with project teams, and iterate using feedback and user testing to drive and polish features to a high-quality state
• Collaborate with a team of artists and engineers to carry design from concept into final implementation
• Craft UX artifacts to communicate solutions (flows, wireframes, prototypes, etc.)
• Design and visualize user interface screens, transitions, animations, and VFX.

Experience:

• A minimum of 5+ years’ experience working as a UI/UX designer in gaming, or related digital interaction design field
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of usability design principals
• Deep understanding of information hierarchy, layout design, UX process, and usability design principles
• Awareness of current trends in user interface design
• Ability to make independent creative decisions, get stakeholder buy-in, and work with a team to execute

Essential Job Functions

The Science Educator (Informal Science) is responsible for developing and delivering inclusive, impactful, and unique learning experiences in domains in Physical Sciences (physics, chemistry, mathematics, computation, earth and space science, engineering) for students, teachers, public and families that will drive visitorship and generate revenue for Science Centre Singapore.

He/She will also be responsible for developing the content for Science Centre’s sustainability programmes. Besides being involved in the planning and execution of projects/events, he/she will also contribute within a task force center wide.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge in Physical Sciences and modern concepts in Science and Technology. A strong interest and experience in the sustainability movement is desired. He/She must be tech savvy and willing to learn and adapt to new ways of content development and delivery. Good project management, written and oral communication skills are essential. In addition, the candidate must be adaptable, detail-oriented and a team player.
