The Manager is a leadership position overseeing the activities of a specified Work-study Degree Programme (WSDeg Prog) where the incumbent contributes both as an individual contributor and to oversee a small team.

The team is responsible to ensure that internship opportunities are aligned to NTU’s learning outcome; and students can benefit from the learning experience to become more job ready.

Responsibilities

Programme and Facilitation Management (OJT)

• Design, develop and provide WSDeg Prog within respective responsible school programme area in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders; and in accordance to NTU curriculum development guidelines.
• Facilitate between industry partners and NTU faculties to constantly review the WSDeg Prog curriculum (incl related academic curriculum).
• Responsible for all aspects of WSDeg Prog according to assigned college and/or schools.
• Manage end-to-end WSDeg Prog processes up to completion of the essential assessment process.
• Collaborate with OJT employers to develop required On-the-Job Training (OJT) Training Plan in respect to the OJT designated job roles; and to facilitate its application to respective student.
• Provide consultation and coaching support to students who need help in overcome OJT challenges and to facilitate remedial actions with relevant stakeholders with concurrence.

Business Development & Stakeholders Management

• Develop and make plans to look for new OJT opportunities from current and new employers to recruit NTU students.
• Engage current and potential employers (and any relevant stakeholders) to garner relevant OJT opportunities.
• Collaborate with Team Lead to plan and develop suitable WSDeg Prog initiatives with respective schools to reinforce workplace experiential learning; and help in organizing the team to realize the agreed plan.

• Bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized University.
• At least 4 to 6 years working experiences with exposure in team management role, internship/training management and service delivery experience preferably in tertiary education, adult education sectors and/or government agencies environment.
• Successful track record in the management of internships/ cooperative education/ work-study degree programme/ workplace learning/ performance enhancement or adult education.
• Familiar with adult learning pedagogy and practices of OJT.

• Work in inter-disciplinary teams (e.g. Educational/Clinical/ Counselling Psychologist, Counsellor) to provide evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions/treatment to students with complex/severe mental health issues and/or co-morbid issues (e.g. Special Education Needs and mental health issues).

• Liaise with other professionals (e.g. psychiatrists, doctors) and Social Service Agencies to mobilise community resources to provide care and support for the students.

• Refer and/or recommend external service interventions (e.g. family therapy) as part of the student’s overall treatment plan.

• Conduct training on a range of mental health issues and evidence-based intervention strategies for staff.

Strategic support in University Counselling Centre (UCC)/University Wellbeing Office (UWO)

• Evaluate and/or develop service provisions for students and provide clinical updates/feedback to UCC.

• Provide strategic support to team lead and Head, UCC in the overall provision of UCC services.

• Collate and analyse statistical data and/or related reports to Head, UCC as and when required.

• Develop/support initiatives and programmes under UCC and/or UWO.

Administrative support in University Counselling Centre (UCC)

• Lead a small team to oversee the daily operations and services of UCC ensuring efficient and effective functioning.

• Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports and documentation related to UCC and SOAR operations, and budget.

• Manage UCC’s budget, monitor expenses and ensure financial prudence and compliance.
   

Requirements:

• Graduate qualification in counselling, counselling psychology or clinical psychology.

• Preferably a registered counsellor with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) or a registered psychologist with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS).

• About 6-8 years of professional counselling experience and competent in case management and critical incident management.

• Proficient in professional counselling approaches and tools to help clients with diverse issues and conditions

• Experience in working with young adults, preferable in a university setting

The Fund Accounting Manager is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees, leading a variety of fund valuation activities in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of activities associated with Net Asset Valuations (NAVs).

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as support mechanism for achievement including SMART goal setting
• Calculate daily and periodic NAVs for fund and dissemination of the associated unit prices to facilitate investor dealing in accordance with all local regulations, accepted accounting values, and local tax requirements, as well as produce full set of audited annual financial accounts and unaudited semiannual accounts for each regulated entity
• Complete regulatory reporting and associated client reporting requirements covering all aspects of the funds valuation, portfolio, expenses, and transaction volumes ensuring a variety of standard and client/regulatory formats
• Assist the section manager of a team of Fund Accountants who are responsible for a broad spectrum of financial and accounting matters affecting clients
• Identify and implement corrective action plans across teams while analyzing and assessing business risk
• Serve as primary point of escalation for internal/external staff queries, and develop/manage process, productivity, and quality standards
• Create, develop, and maintain business relationships, identify and implement service, system, and process enhancements, lead and evaluate system testing, and train staff on new technology enhancements
• Support development and achievement of strategic goals and annual performance/compensation cycle as well as implement methods to reduce expenses, recommend enhancements, and justify benefits
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

The mission of the Function Controller comprises 3 roles:

⮚ The main job scope of the Function Controller is to monitor and improve the operating costs of the relevant Functions Activities in Singapore, and to provide decision support to Management. This includes the production of regular financial and management accounts, budgets and forecasts, in close coordination with Business/Function Controllers in Europe. 

⮚ Finance Transformation: The Function Controller will drive projects related to digitalization and optimization of processes in Finance

⮚ Support to Heads of Integrated Functions ( HR, Legal, Finance, Procurement...) based in Singapore to get an overview of relevant financial KPI across APAC 

Primary responsibilities :

• Supervising Integrated Functions’ expenses across the APAC region and assisting Heads of Functions in obtaining a comprehensive view of their costs.

• Responsible for computing regional business cases for cross-country improvement initiatives, and providing actionable scenarios and way forward, 

• Build a strong customer relationship with Functions managers, providing lean and applicable information,

• Support the definition of cost allocation models to support cross-Functions and cross-entities charge back

• Contract management / Service Level Agreement (SLA) : Ensure the Cost Reimbursement Agreements’ content is up-to-date, compliant to current country regulations/laws, sufficient to protect Company interests, which support all activities within the Company

• Accountable to establish the annual budget (includes ensuring budget adherence, investigate any budget deficiencies and provide solutions/improvement) & quarterly forecast of the respective business activity / function, in liaison with Heads of department,

• Responsible for an accurate intercompany re-invoicing process, closely following up on intercompany transactions and reconciling intercompany positions to ensure no discrepancies in quarterly balances,

• Managing projects related to the transformation of Finance for greater simplification and digitalization of our process, such as:

  • Automatization of Dashboard and reporting

  • Audit existing finance processes and identify areas for improvement and automation

  • Develop and implement new financial tool using SAP, Google suite

• Support the development of Financial models, forecast and budgets 

• Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments, countries’ financial related regulations,
