The Assistant Manager/ Manager, Corporate Programmes 2, leads the team responsible for conceptualising, designing, executing, facilitating, and managing programmes and events for the entities managed by the Defence Collective Singapore (DCS), to engage various audience groups (to visit or as part of outreach efforts). The jobholder will report to Deputy Director, Corporate Programmes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead team in the development and implementation of events and programmes (includes conceptualisation, planning, coordination, monitoring, execution and facilitation) – with main focus on Corporate groups
• Manage event enquiries, requests or correspondences
• Work with Sales team to develop and deliver events and programmes for target audience
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, partners and external vendors to ensure smooth operations for events, including procuring goods and services for event execution
• Plan the deployment of Part-timers (PTs) and External Facilitators (EFs) for programmes and events
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including delivery reports, post event surveys, and analysis for the programmes and events
• Handle and respond to feedback
• Support other team members in Corporate Programmes division, as well as School Programmes teams for key events / programmes, such as events planning and facilitation
• Other dutie as assigned

Requirements:

• Preferably with 5 or more years’ experience in leading, organising and delivering programmes or events. First-hand experience with coordinating family days and other large scale events will be an advantage

A. Process Improvement

Responsible to lead the team on Piping & Layout design activities.

• Coordinate on project specific issues with the Piping Design Lead.

• Based on the client specifications, follow project specific procedure related to Piping & Layout design.

• Work closely with the Piping design lead of the project to understand the requirements and address the demand on time. Develop reports as required by the lead.

• Perform 3D-modeling using E3D / PDMS for Mechanical, Safety, Soft Volumes, Escape & Transport Routes, Access & Material Handling Routes, Equipment modelling, Package modelling with required TP points, Piping and Pipe supports.

• Perform FPSO layout design which includes Turret, Hull and Marine Piping/ Pipe support design. Conduct 3D Model Reviews both internally and externally as per the Project requirements.

• MTO preparation and checking for the Piping Bulk items and Tagged Items.

• Vendor drawing review for the static Equipment’s/ Rotating Equipment’s/ Packages and ensure all the Nozzle orientations; Vessel cleats Support requirements are in line with Design Requirements.

• Perform and Checks the Model object clashes on regular basis and collaborate with other disciplines for effective cleaning of the 3D Model to make it clash free.

• Perform Design Review on regular basis by using E3D / PDMS / 3D model software such as Navisworks for establishing the suitability of Layout / Piping design in accordance with standards and codes.

• Issue of discipline deliverables in project specific templates.

Work Experience:

• Must have minimum of 10-12 years of experience having worked in an engineering setup for upstream oil & gas projects (Offshore & FPSO projects) serving in the capacity of a Piping Lead Designer.

• Conduct Analyses of trade-lanes & prices

Inventory Management

• Track, update and analyze equipment turnaround/idle/repair time/idle time/repair time and implement measures for improvement
• Prepare daily container inventory report
• Liaise with various parties on purchasing, disposing, and leasing of containers
• Assess container repair charges, collection, detention and demurrage
• Oversee container seal and DG sticker management

Sea Shipment coordination & documentation support (assisting operation if required)

• Liaising with Customers, Vendors & Overseas partners
• Preparation of full set shipping documentation for FCL/LCL Sea freight shipments & local handling services.
• Execution of documents using the Company’s SAP System
• Ensure accurate & timely execution of documentation, custom manifest and invoicing to related parties within stipulated KPIs
• Maintain proper e-filing system of all documents for easy and systematic retrieval

Full set payment requisition;

• Ensure accurate & timely execution of invoicing to related parties within KPI,
• Keeping track of all payment’s invoices, reconciling processed work by verifying entries and arrange for payment requisition accurately & timely within credit period.

Transportation arrangement;

• Monitoring delivery & collection to meet the schedule for all services provided
• Keeping track of all quotation/tariff for payment’s invoices, reconciling processed work by verifying entries accurately & timely
• Coordination with all vendor & warehouse operations for loading/unloading related arrangements if required
• Any ad hoc tasks as assigned from management

Person Specifications

• Possess a Diploma in logistics and supply chain management, or at least 3 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge in container maintenance & repair
• Familiarity with SAP's Transport Module
• Experience in dealing with NVOCC Sea Freight Process Flow

Operationally

• Listing products and maintain optimal inventory level to ensure availability of products
• Managing stores on marketplaces and liaising with Key Account Managers to improve traffic, conversion rate and ultimately grow sales
• Be involved in monthly and quarterly promotional planning and actively come up with ideas be it to promotion mechanics or how to market products
• Communicate with Graphic Designer on Social media and mailer collateral design
• Facilitates and implement marketing strategies or promotional collaterals such as changing website banners, scheduling social media posts and creating vouchers/coupons
• Generate and compile reports and analysing the trends that aids promotional decision making

Job Summary:

As an R&D cum Product Management Engineer, your role is to drive the research and development efforts of new products and technologies while also managing the product lifecycle and ensuring its successful market introduction. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative products that align with customer needs and business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Research and Development:

4. Project Management:

· Manage the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to commercialization, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

· Communicate project updates and status to management.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

6. Intellectual Property (IP) Management:

· Assist in identifying and protecting intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights related to new products and technologies.

Job Requirement:

1. Education and Experience:

· Min. Master's degree or PhD in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Organometallic Chemistry.

· At least 3 years(PhD)/5 years (Master’s degree) of working experience in research and development and product management role. Significant R&D exposure to specialty chemicals or semiconductor wafer fab environment is considered advantageous.

2. Technical Skills:

· Strong technical background and proficiency in engineering principles, design methodologies, and product development processes.

· Knowledge of relevant technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes related to the industry.

· Understanding of quality standards, regulatory requirements, and testing procedures relevant to product development.

· Strong instrumentation hands on experience will be preferred.

3. Product Management:

· Knowledge and experience in product management concepts, including market research, competitive analysis, and product lifecycle management.
