This position reports to the Markets Control Assessment & Testing Head, within the COO’s Controls Testing Utility. It is a strategic- and execution-oriented management position that is accountable for operational controls performance assessment and assurance for Markets controls as well as monitoring and testing tools. • Supports the Markets Controls Testing Utility by leading a team responsible for assessing control design, designing control assessment tools and developing control assessment procedures, ensuring control assessment transitions, dispositioning exceptions, and developing insights.
• Carries key responsibility for Control Design Assessment (CDA) by influencing the design of the quality review process, defining the work plan, and resolving escalations.

• Maintains resource forecast for own team as well as forecasting for successful controls assessment transition and Central Execution training. Supports team members on topics ranging from testing design and execution to performance management and control assessment platforms basics.
• Helps driving continuous improvements in accuracy, efficiency, timeliness, and quality of MCA control design assessment testing.
• Develops and drives quality-checking routines to ensure compliance with all relevant policies, operating guides, and owned control assessments.
• Sets ambitious and measurable control testing goals for self and teams that align to business strategy and support business strategy realization.

7. Coordinates and liaises with other departments within the company to collectively provide an efficient ship management service. What you can expect

As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the team’s daily operations involving threat monitoring and detection. Collaborating with a dynamic team, you will intake cybersecurity related requests from internal and external entities that require triage, remediation, or escalation.

What you will do

• Perform deep dives into suspicious security events by collating data from various sources, working across multiple GIS Control Teams, to determine if a critical system or data has been impacted.
• Must be able to identify, analyze and address problems to resolve issues whenever possible in way that minimizes negative impact and risk to the organization.
• Ability to work independently with initiatives and minimum supervision.
• Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking.
• Ability to work with Technical and Non-Technical business owners.
• Assist with internal projects and development efficiently.

• Maintain data sources feeding the log monitoring system, develop and maintain detection and alerting rules.
• Respond to user incident reports and evaluates the type and severity of security events.
• Execute initial triage of incidents to rule out false positives.
• Identify recurring security issues and risks and develops mitigation plans and recommends process improvements.
• Interpret and apply security policies and procedures.
• Establish escalation processes for security incidents and develops contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successful strategic planning and execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
