Responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
• Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data accurately. Generating periodic reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and others.
• Presenting financial data to managers, investors, and relevant stakeholders.
• Maintaining precise financial records. Conducting audits and resolving any discrepancies identified.
• Calculating taxes as required. Staying updated on current legislation pertaining to finance and accounting.
• Aiding management in decision-making by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes.
• Able to work independently.

Key responsibilities:

• Independently handling full sets of financial accounts (preparing Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Annual Compilation Report) for a portfolio of diversified clients in different industries.
• Handling clients’ tax matters, including but not limited to filling of Corporation Income Tax, GST return and Individual tax return with IRAS etc.
• Liaising with external/ internal auditor and tax agents upon request.
• Liaising with government bodies (such as IRAS, CPF, DOS etc) on behalf of clients on compliance matters.
• Implementing accounting policies and internal control procedures and ensuring compliance
• Instructing and give training juniors in the workplace
• Carry out ad-hoc duties, when assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Accountancy/Accounting
• 4 -5 years of relevant accounting working experience
• Excellent communication skills and strong cooperation consciousness to liaise with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Team player.
• Able to work independently, meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
