You will make your mark as accountant at our Singapore office and play a key role in the financial administration and reporting of Smit Salvage Singapore within the Salvage division and work closely together with Shared Resources in Singapore and Shared Services in Abu Dhabi.

The finance team of Smit Salvage are in these same areas and work closely together. The Singapore team consists of a Finance controller, an Accountant and a Project Controller working from the office onshore and two Shore Coordinators who support the projects in the field, wherever that might be. Together with other Boskalis divisions, certain finance activities are performed by the Shared Resource centre in Singapore as well as the Shared Service Centre in Abu Dhabi.

Your responsibilities as an Accountant are:

• Oversee full set of accounts (AR, AP & GL).
• Prepare monthly reporting packages to Management, including variation analysis.
• Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budget including narratives.
• Prepare periodic and ad-hoc financial analysis for budget control.
• Liaise with tax agent for the preparation and submission of tax return.

The role of a Lifeguard delivers the highest level of guest service as to ensure guests’ experience a luxurious and enjoyable time by the pool. The role requires to perform and enhance multiple guest’s experience from welcoming all guest, and ensuring their safety by the pool.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee the safety of swimmers and prevent injury by providing supervision to the area at regular intervals (e.g. patrol around the pool), reacting immediately to any emergency and identify any possible signs of distress.
• Provide pool rescue in accordance with emergency procedures.
• Inform users when necessary to abide by the rules and regulations of the swimming pool.
• Perform regular inspections of the area surrounding the swimming pool and lifesaving equipment.
• Advocate safety at swimming pool such as by being part of the risk assessment team to be involved in the swimming pool’s periodic assessment efforts, including efforts to improve safety levels, such as conducting review of risk assessment plan where required.

• Support team and managers in Risk and Regulatory Compliance projects and Advisory Work:

• Undertake various client engagements and ensure consistent delivery of superior client service; this includes leading and assuming responsibility for high quality deliverables while respecting established time-frames and budgets.
