Job Description

• Develop, automate and maintain web applications and services to support business and operational goals while adhering to performance and quality code best practices
• Work with CTO on product goals
• Lead team members to identify requirements, define scope and ensure goals are met
• Collaborate with UI/UX to ensure consistency in design
• Document and ensure product and project information is documented
• Stay updated on emerging web development trends and technologies

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years hands-on frontend and backend development experience in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, related frameworks, databases and code versioning tools (e.g. Git, SVN), server experience (e.g. Apache, nginx)
• Fundamental appreciation of UI/UX practices
• Understanding of Cloud services (e.g. AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean)
• Understanding of system testing, automated testing
• Able to lead team members work collaboratively and users
• Interest in software development, automation, artificial intelligence and relevant research to solve difficult business problems, able to debug and resolve issues independently

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Facility Engineer to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance while leading our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical or electrical disciplines and extensive experience in facility management and supervision. Proficiency in English and Mandarin, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills, is essential for liaising with contractors, local authorities, and stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Oversee the maintenance and repair of facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure.

· Supervise contractors, including negotiating pricing, scheduling, and quality control.

· Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

· Prepare reports on maintenance activities, budget expenditures, and project progress.

· Serve as the primary contact for local authorities, obtaining permits, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

· Develop and implement emergency response procedures.

· Lead and mentor the facility maintenance staff, providing guidance and training.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

· Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical discipline or certification in facility management.

· Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in facility management, with supervisory roles.

· Proficiency in English and Mandarin, with strong communication skills.

· Ability to write reports, plan schedules, negotiate prices, and supervise contractors.

· Class 2 or 3 driving licence required for travel to various facilities.

• Oversees the planning of project operations and resolves technical and scheduling issues on-site

• Main point of contact and liaison between project teams and the client's representatives, consultants, and relevant authorities

• Review contract, design drawings, specifications, and bid documents

• Implement effective contract and claim management to increase the contractual margin and protect the Company against liability claims

• Site visits to review the progress of your job

• Monitor compliance of work with workplace safety and health regulations
