• Ensure audit preparedness by preparing the relevant document
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Support verification/validation activities and ensure regulatory compliance based on the outcome of the risk assessment
• Support in developing and preparing documents and activities for: FMEA, Quality Procedure, Work Instruction, verification/validation plan, protocol and report
• Mass manufacturing process verification/validation plan, protocol, and report
• Product filling and packaging process verification/validation plan, protocol, andreport
• Assess the impact of regulatory changes on the company/department: monitor, perform gap analysis, and ensure timely and appropriate reactions to regulatory changes
• Assist in the implementation of optimal regulatory strategies to ensure regulatory and commercial success in the most effective and timely manner
• Participate in formal improvement team activities
• Support all development and organizational improvement initiatives in order to achieve business objectives
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisors/managers

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years working experience in Plastic Injection Moulding particularly in Medical Device Manufacturing industry
• Diploma/Degree in Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering/relevant field
• Experience in Minitab software
• Good communication skills
• Able to work independently

OPERATIONAL

The window person interpreting the customer’s requirements, URS and translating them into proposal and conceptualization for new machine/equipment as well as build-from-print projects.

In-liaison and follow-up with the customer on project proposal and review, subsequent project activities and development

To collaborate and work together with the Design Team (comprising of both mechanical & electrical members) for the design concept arising from new projects proposal and confirmed projects.

To perform detail designs and drafting of detail drawings (parts drawings) on time and upon the approval of the project manager, forward the designs to the respective vendors and suppliers for quotations & fabrication.

To spearhead meetings and review with the design team and the customers on design requirements and specification.

To guide and assist the assistant design engineers & junior designers in their job scope ranging from detailed designing, the selection of materials/standard items to the checking of drawings etc.

To work and discuss with the in-house electrical engineers and/or the company’s appointed electrical vendors on the respective machine control and electrical systems and operations of the projects.

To assist the assembly members & technicians in Machine Assembly Process, Alignment, Testing & Commissioning.
