Job Description:

As a Sales Manager in the wire and cable sales division, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence. Requirements:

· Operate fixed shear equipment with stationary grab used to cut the process steel scrap.

· Commit to plant safety procedures. Ensure all relevant safety measures are adhered prior to application of permit-to-work.

· Maintenance activities and supporting plant operation to minimize downtime.

· Assist in the maintenance of mobile machineries like Liebherr 954, Cat 336 Grapple / Magnetic and Volvo 480 Grapple.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

QC Inspector will work closely with Supervisor/Lead to complete the daily assigned tasks (incoming inspection, in-process inspection, NDT inspection and final/outgoing inspection). Conducting inspection on various stages of the inspection to ensure the products fulfill the required quality as given in the production requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform incoming material inspections as per the appropriate Work Instruction (WI).

2. Perform correctly the daily in-process and final inspection of the product in accordance with the Quality Procedure (QP) and WI.

3. Ensure material/component traceability (router sheet) is maintained throughout the manufacturing process.

4. Ensure to clock in/out (VM) and update the router sheet correctly.

5. Ensure only calibrated and validated equipment/measuring devices are used in the inspection processes.

6. Report to the Supervisor/Lead on any non-conformance(s) detected during inspection.

7. Ensure repaired/reworked items are re-inspected before releasing the product for further processing or delivery.

8. Prepare and complete inspection records prior to shipment to customers.

9. Perform any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by superior.

10. Support in the orientation of new recruitment for the quality team by providing on-the-job-training and sharing the company culture and practice, and method of inspection, etc.

You will be joining the Viral Clearance team within Development Services in Lonza Singapore. The Development Services group is responsible for the development and characterization manufacturing processes used for the production of novel therapeutic recombinant proteins for Lonza’s global client base.

Based primarily in a new site in Singapore Science Park, the viral clearance team works closely with our customers, and with different functions including MSAT, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Proposal/Program Management, Process Development, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance and external testing facility.

The purpose of this role is to execute virus clearance studies that demonstrate the effectiveness of purification processes for the reduction of viruses to support customers’ regulatory filings (IND & BLA).

Key responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on laboratory work (e.g. small-scale control run, virus models spiked run, virus inactivation step evaluation, virus reduction filtration) following protocols and working to GMP standards.
• Follow work procedures to set up and operate column & membrane chromatography, ultrafiltration and dead-end filtration systems.
• Contribute to customer projects by generating and interpreting scientific data from experimental work. Part of the experiment will require working at vendor testing laboratories.
• Record and review raw data to produce good quality process knowledge and data sets suitable for inspection by regulatory agencies (eg. EMEA and ICH Q5A).
• Deliver high quality communication (written reports, telecons, face to face meetings) to ensure an outstanding customer (both internal and external) experience.
• Working as part of a site and global project team, co-ordinate multiple projects and ensure timely delivery of project workstages.
