•Possess knowledge in digital circuit design, firmware implementation and hydraulics analog circuit design.

•Understanding of manufacturing processes PCB’s, PCBA’s, LED’s, extrusions, machining/turning, sheet metal, precisions stamping and ALU/SS materials and mechanical assembly processes.

•Knowledge of different types of motor applications, such as DC servo motors, 3 phase linear motors, stepper motors, voice coil motors etc.

•Expertise in one or more of the following areas will be added advantage: Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), Digital Signal Processor (DSP), Micro controller and Power Supply.

•Knowledge of stringent grounding requirements used in industrial control systems.

•Electrical drafting knowledge using 2D CAD system and Proficiency in reading and updating technical drawings.

•Able to perform root cause analysis and resolve problems on a conceptual and advanced troubleshooting level.

Qualifications

•Possess at least a Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering/equivalent.

General Purpose/Scope

• Support in process improvements, customer returns, cycle time reduction and scrap reduction initiatives.

Essential Job Duties

• Work closely with Process/Manufacturing Engineer to monitor and improve the process capability.
• Ensure the scrap, production yield and cycle time reduction targets are met.
• Review process issues, NCR and conduct failure analysis.
• Updating of Manufacturing work instructions/routers.
• Participate in cross-functional teams on various improvement projects.
• Conduct Evaluations/Special Build Request.
• Support QA for failure analysis and identification of corrective action for customer returns and internal CAR’s.
• Preparation of the failure analysis report on customer return parts.
• Co-ordinate and expedite First article build with Production.
• Participate as a team player in maintaining a conducive, healthy & safe work environment.
• Maintains good housekeeping, safety and discipline in work area.
• Hands-on experience in assembly of prototype module.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering is preferred
• 3 to 5 years working experience in manufacturing environment

2. Loves the mysteries of chemistry and must have a great passion in a laboratory environment, R&D research, and a high curiosity nature to work hands-on to test and refine the process.
3. Some knowledge of Halal, Kosher, ISO procedures, FSSC, and RSPO will be an advantage, and the ability to build Quality Systems.
