Dedicated to exploring new frontiers, the NeuroPhenomics Lab integrates advanced techniques in genetics, epigenetics, and metabolomics at both single-cell and spatial levels. A scientist or senior scientist position is available at the Functional Proteomics Laboratory for setting up, developing methods and performing targeted and untargeted metabolomics experiments. You will work on mass spectrometry-based identification of small molecule binders of RNA and small molecule metabolomics projects.

• Develop and run standardized protocols for untargeted metabolomics (or targeted metabolomics panels) for small molecule analysis.
• Design workflows and optimize analytical methods for performing targeted/untargeted metabolomics experiments for different sample mediums (Plasma/Urine/Tissue).
• Work with different collaborators and lead projects for small molecule metabolomics analysis on various sample types.
• Conceptualise, design and develop metabolomics assays for quantification of small molecules.
• Write and present research findings for conferences and publications.
• Contribute to project management, provision of guidance to junior researchers, including research officers.

Job Requirements

• Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Biology, Analytical Chemistry or a related discipline.

The lab of RNA in Disease and Translational Technologies at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, A*STAR, Singapore is seeking to recruit a highly motivated Scientist or Senior Scientist to join a team developing a ribozyme-based RNA platform for potential translational and/or clinical applications.

The work will involve both in vitro and in vivo techniques, including molecular biology (RNA design, in vitro transcription, cell-free RNA assays, RT-qPCR, molecular cloning), cell biology (cell culture, cell transfection, flow cytometry, antisense oligonucleotides and RNAi, CRISPR), high-resolution imaging techniques, and experiments in mouse models (e.g. transgenesis, in situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry, imaging and functional analyses)
