This role is based in Singapore. You will be placed with the Corporate Sustainability Team and working with clients who are based in multiple locations and time zones across Asia. The goal of this team is to support the transition of companies (predominantly Small & Medium Enterprises) towards more sustainable business practices.

About the Role

You will create impact with companies, government organisations and Institutes of Higher Learning in multiple countries by training them on sustainability concepts, innovate new business ideas and co-develop technology solutions. The work will involve:

• Account Management: Engaging clients across scoping, proposal preparation and project management.
• Co-Designing & delivering training for innovation programs centered on sustainability. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in corporate sustainability.
• Program Management: Collaborate with the Corporate Sustainability Team to design, implement, and manage sustainability programs that align with our company's goals and objectives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to drive sustainability initiatives.

About You

You should have relevant qualifications in the domain of sustainability and/or business innovation. You should ideally have:

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in corporate sustainability, environmental consulting, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of sustainability principles, frameworks (e.g. ISSB, GRI, TCFD, GHG Protocol), and best practices.
• A working understanding of sustainability-related issues and trends in both a local and global context.
• Basic understanding of innovation processes (e.g. Design Thinking, Business Model Canvas).
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for creating reports, delivering presentations, and engaging with stakeholders at all levels in English.
• Good time management (able to handle multiple clients/projects simultaneously).
• Able to adapt to ambiguous contexts of contributing to a wide range of client projects unfolding simultaneously.
• Ability to accommodate working hours to suit the needs of international clients who may be in a different time zone. Off-in-lieu will be provided.
• Proficiency in Google Suite online tools.

• Responsible for technical activities for customer’s IT infrastructure which will include deployment, configuring and maintenance.
• Propose WiFi and ICT networking designs and solutions.
• Conducting discussions with customers to identify their requirements and designing solutions that best meets their needs. Solutions would include hosting and managed services.
• Performing technical presentations of proposed solutions including managed hosting services, highlighting the technical and operational benefits to customers.
• Designing solutions and assist in preparing responses to Tenders/RFPs/Proposals and providing effective responses to technical clarifications.
• Coordinating with implementation / operations teams on solutions design and its ability to be effectively supported, including Proof of Concept (POC), System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Test (UAT).
• Providing technical support to Sales team to enable meeting total sales target.

Purpose and Scope

• To operate Water / Wastewater Treatment Plant and to ensure that the Plant always meets customers’ contract requirements and NEA discharge or water product specifications.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Maximize the Plant availability and reliability by following SOPs and meeting customers’ contract requirements and NEA discharge or water product specifications.
• Coordinate with customers’ control rooms on compliance of water/ wastewater flow and quality.
• Enforce HSE and manage all maintenance works within the Plant through PTW and physical inspection.
• Follow and enforce SOPs / SWPs at all times when working in the plant.
• Good knowledge of plant process flow to manage and handle process upsets and malfunction of equipment. Seek for assistance from engineers as needed on troubleshooting and mitigating of the process impact.
• Knowledge of first line maintenance, for instance, comparing portable and online measurements, topping up demineralized water for TOC analyzer etc.
• Raise maintenance notifications via SAP whenever an equipment fault is observed.
• Knowledge of Permit-to-Work (PTW) system and Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) system.
• Fills up log sheets, shift reports, and daily reports accurately.
• Carry out plant mechanical routine duties diligently. This also includes housekeeping within the plant premises.
• Carry out plant sampling and measurement duties in a timely and accurate manner.
• Highlight to the Operation Engineer when there is low inventory of chemicals and logistics.
• Successful candidate will be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) and First Aider (trainings will be provided).

Major Challenges

• Process related problems that span across different unit operations, which ultimately affects discharge quality.
• Knowledge of various equipment and instruments and its functionality which would require prompt attention during urgent events.

Key Decisions & Dimensions

• Maintain wastewater within specified range of flow rate, temperature, kg-TOC loading, and kg-COD loading.
• Maintain water product within specified range of flow, temperatures, pH, TSS and conductivity/ TDS.
• Checking equipment delivering pressure, temperatures, etc.
• Approval of general work permits for PM and CM jobs.

Qualifications & Experience

• ITE / Diploma with knowledge of Water / Wastewater treatment will be an advantage.
• Experience in plant operations relating to Water / Wastewater treatment.
• Driving license as required to commute between plant in Jurong Island.
