JOB DESCRIPTION

• All ISO tank containers turn into depot, surveyors ensure to stick a yellow and red colour
• Sticker onto the Left-Hand Side of the corner post before off load.
• Surveyors must coordinate with the Leese/Lessor independent surveyor for joint inspection.
• As part of a Surveyors duties, ensure to conduct thorough inspection after the cleaning, repaired and testing completed.
• Surveyors must thoroughly inspect the Tank Containers and raised estimates after the cleaning completed.
• Surveyors must report to the supervisor on all documentation of ISO Tank containers before sending to customers

• As a surveyors must obtain instruction from the Supervisor.
• Surveyors must inform the Side Lifter Drivers to shift the Tank Containers into the
• workshop area for repair when Customers given the approval to repair.
• Surveyors must hand over the approved estimates to the Repairer Supervisor afterthe tank containers shifted into the repair bay.
• Surveyors ensure the repairer repair items accordingly indicated on the estimates and repair standard complies to ITCO/ACC or Owner criteria.

Preparation and Submission of Interim and Final claims for client approvals.

• Preparation and Submission of cost estimate for variation works.

• Carry out Site visits for Joint measurement with clients for variation works.

• Evaluation, verification and certification of sub contractor’s claims.

Job Requirements & Person Specification (Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Behaviours)

• Recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Project & Facilities Management, Infrastructure Project Management or similar (which involves construction-related cost management)
• Previous industry experience (including internships) is an advantage
• Good technical knowledge e.g. measurement, cost estimating, construction technology, contracts and law
• Familiarity with professional practice and contract administration processes
• Able to work as a team player and multi-task on few on-going projects / assignments
• Ability to communicate clearly in both spoken and written English
• Ability to work with (or learn) digital software (e.g.: CostX; CubiCost)
• A clear and analytical approach to problem solving and decision making

Job descriptions

• Prepare tender submission, cost reports, cost plans and evaluate tender.
• Responsible from tender to pre-contract and post contract administration duties.
• Prepare tender clarifications, liaise with consultants, attend site visits and tender briefings/meetings.
• Evaluate and review of tender drawings for discrepancies.
• Responsible for quantity take-offs, preparing bills of quantities, sourcing and selecting of Subcontractors.

• Timely preparation of cost estimations, technical data & unit rates.

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
• Min 5 years QS experience related to Building Services / Mechanical / Electrical services.
• Proficient in MS Office software.
• Proficient in Cubic Cost Software
• Good knowledge and experienced in Design & Build Tender for M&E services is preferred.
• A good team player.
• Highly self-motivated, good working attitude with high level of professionalism & integrity.
• Contractual knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

The role will assist in the functions described below:

HRIS

· Assist in post implementation. Analyse, troubleshoot and rectify issues raised during the implementation of the processes required for the HRIS

· Maintenance of the HRIS

· Maintain, create, and update all documents related to HR processes including employee files, policies and procedures

· Prepare regular and ad hoc HR reports

Training & Development

• Assist in department training & development needs
• Assist to source and administer L&D programmes and initiatives, including submission of government training grants

Compensation & Benefits

· Assist in insurance renewal, claims and leave administration

· Administer employee’s work injury related issues and all other insurance matter

· Maintain the eLeave system and prepare annual closing on carried forward leave

Payroll administration

· Prepare and process payroll for MCL

· Support in monthly CPF submissions, NS claims, government claims, filing of tax submission, and any other payroll-related matter

HR Policy Compliance

· Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with local labour laws and regulations.

· Regularly review and update HR policies to reflect changes in legislation

· Support all HR related survey
