Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Manage and work with a team of logistic and warehouse personnel of receiving, issuing, packing and shipping arrangement

• Preparation of shipping and related documents
• Handle documentation for LC negotiation, import and export
• COO application
• Provide other administrative support

Requirements:

• Diploma in Business Administration/Logistic/ Supply Chain or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years shipping experience in manufacturing environment and handling global inbound/outbound shipment
• Experience in using SAP system

The A&A Executive's main purpose is to support the Corporate Finance department in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting and administration for the group of companies. He/She needs to have good understanding of business structures, operations, and financial performance. Good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as organising and problem-solving skills to support strategic planning and maximise efficiency and effectiveness of resource allocation.

We're looking for someone who is performance driven , proactive, independent and with a keen eye for details to assist our CFO in the daily operations of the Corporate Finance. This position is part of 3-member team that reports to the CFO.

• Work Schedule: 5-days week, Mon-Fri 8.00am to 5.45pm
• Work Location: Our office in Changi Airfreight Centre or Loyang

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To be responsible for all Accounts Receivables & Payables that align with the Corporate Finance department’s goals.
• To be responsible for maintaining and systematic storage of documents with proper traceability within the department.
• To monitor processing of invoices, month end closing, and ensure timely collection of payments.
• To conduct credit checks on new accounts.
• To prepare bank reconciliation, GST returns, audit schedule and other forecasting reports as required.
• To prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc billing reports for customers.
• To assist CFO in liaising with external auditor, tax agents and professional advisors on related matters.
• To assist CFO in management accounting functions and reports preparation including preliminary cost analysis, reconciliation, budgeting, and forecasting.
• To use business intelligence to analyse, compile and present information for management decision on financial and non-financial performance measurements.
• To participate in ad-hoc finance-related projects and systems testing.
• To coordinate day-to-day administration and housekeeping duties.
• To carry out any other duties as may be expected in a post of this level.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related.
• Minimum internship work experience in accounting or related role for accounting degree holder.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate fees and contracts on half of clients and ensure the transportation and collection of cargos are done in the most effective and efficient way.
• Prepare required documentations, including insurance requirement to be compliant with Customs requirements.
• To create Shipper's Export Declarations and have a clear understanding of overseas countries' requirements and fiscal regimes before goods are being transported in order to avoid any unnecessary delay.
• Creation of ocean bill of lading to facilitate the movement of cargo
• Handle all customer service requirements in dealing with hipper, supplier, consignee and any other agents or forwarders involved in the shipment.
• To perform audits on all bills of lading to ensure rates are correctly populated on bills of lading.
• To perform inter-department coordination and liaising for inward and outward movement of goods.
• Creation of cargo on hand reports and transmission of such reports to customers to keep them advised of what is in their inventory.
• Load plan exclusive container loads and submit loads to the warehouse manager on Export cargo.
• Work with agents on status of on hand cargo and coordinate the information on shipments so that they are able to print documents at destination
• Oversee import e-commerce (B2C/B2B) operations of the Free-trade Zone warehouse
• Carry out ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor and other tasks from time-to-time

• Min GCE O level or Equivalent
• Preferred 1-2 years of relevant working experience

• Good knowledge of Customs formalities

• Patient, able to multi-task, team player and work under pressure.
• Must be able to work overtime
• Preferably applicant who has basic knowledge in supply chain/ logistics field
• A self-starter and quick learner who possesses the ability to be effective at addressing issues; interfacing with both internal and external customers.
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills and good cultural awareness.
• Spoken/Writing in English is compulsory.
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice.
