Job Description

You will be responsible for supporting the Chief Legal Officer and the Chief Compliance Officer, in managing Legal, Regulatory Compliance (RC) and Conduct risks, aligning to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework. You will be responsible for supporting the implementation of Legal, RC and Conduct frameworks, policies and procedures for Trust. The role is a 50:50 split across the Legal and Compliance teams.

The Role Responsibility:

• Provide advice and training on legal/regulatory requirements, policies and standards of professional conduct.
• Support the design and end-to-end implementation of appropriate Legal, RC and Conduct frameworks, policies and procedures for identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, mitigating and reporting Legal, RC and Conduct risks, including data conduct, for digital-led banking in Singapore, and ensure effective management of issues and risks in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, and compliance with applicable regulations, policies and procedures.
• Perform second line of defence role for managing Legal, RC and Conduct risks, and escalate issues, as appropriate.
• Keep abreast of legal/regulatory developments, manage legal/regulatory consultations and support legislative/regulatory change implementation.
• Provide legal and regulatory advice, and drafting to the business with a focus on our retail banking products, including credit cards, lending and savings account.
• Reviewing and advising on legal and regulatory matters for customer journeys, new products and features, customer communications and marketing materials.
• Find ways to improve processes and customer experiences. Create simple/easy solutions that will make customers and colleagues smile.
• Provide legal and regulatory advice on customer complaints and disputes.

Role Specific Technical Competencies:

Our Ideal Candidate:

• 3 years of financial sector experience, with 2 years in Legal and/or RC second line of defence roles.
• Possess intermediate level of proficiency in legal/compliance advisory on regulations, policies and standards, including data conduct.
• Legal qualification in Singapore/called to Singapore bar/Singapore law degree
• Able to take ownership, solve problems under pressure, innovate and achieve results sustainably.
• Possess strong stakeholder management skills. Able to collaborate and communicate effectively.
• Willing to try new things/solutions.

We are looking for a diligent intern with some experience working in an arts environment. You must be able to commit fully to the duration of the internship. The working hours during production days will be long. You may be required to stay in the evenings or come early in the mornings. But the reward of seeing through the whole process of creating an artwork and making the cast and crew and audiences happy at the end of the day will be intoxicating!

You will be part of a small team managing the daily running of the office. You will be directly involved in the company’s production of our annual season programmes, including chorus concerts, Gala Concert and Opera staging.

Job Responsibilities

Production & Outreach

• Assist in the Production and Outreach & Community Executives in administrative preparation for the production
• Providing logistical and backstage support during rehearsal and performances, including set-up and teardown
• Arrange for auditions as needed
• Act as a liaison between the internal team and external parties

SLO Choruses

• Arrange and attend all chorus rehearsals and performances according to schedule given
• Prepare necessary materials for rehearsals

Administrative

• Conduct database entry and regularly update records
• Organise and update inventory periodically

Working hours

Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm

Interns will be required to work during performance days that usually take place in the weekends and in the evenings. Interns will then be given time-off the following day or at the end of the production, to rest.

Requirements:

• You must possess or currently pursuing at least a Diploma in Arts Management, Arts and Theatre Management, Marketing & Communications or equivalent
• You must be articulate with excellent writing and communication skills
• You must have excellent attention to details
• You must have excellent organisational skills, able to multi-task & prioritise workload
• Experienced working in an arts organisation or knowledge of the arts sector in Singapore is an advantage

Job Description:

The Advocacy Intern will be attached to the Research and Advocacy Department (RAD). The intern will help with projects that the RAD undertakes, and will be exposed to public education, advocacy and research in a social service setting. These projects evolve around themes, such as child abuse and neglect prevention, child participation, children mental well-being and positive parenting. The intern is also expected to work alongside the team in organising events for both internal colleagues and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate in mass communication and related fields.
• Has good writing skills and possesses a strong ability in promotional and publicity campaign work.
• Has a flair for marketing and publishing on social media platforms and content generation.
• Has a heart for social causes and issues faced by children, youth and their families.
• Knowledge of basic design work, e.g. infographics, illustration, simple video and sound editing, is a plus
