My client within the Real Estate space is looking to hire a Legal Counsel on a

Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to all relevant legal rules and regulations
• Educate and oversee employees on health and safety procedures and regulations
• Monitor personnel and workspace
• Always ensure the company is prepared to submit all the relevant health and safety documents
• Encourage and promote the use of safer work equipment, materials and supplies
• Track the number of incidents and produce reports
• Monitor exposure to certain hazardous chemicals
• Report to Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) and other relevant organizations
• Previous working experience as Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator for (3) years
• MA in Environmental Health or similar relevant field
• In-depth knowledge of Health, Safety and/or Environmental policy
• Hands-on experience with performing audits and writing reports
• Excellent organizational time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills

This position reports to the Head of Legal, APAC, based in Singapore, and is an integral part of Company’s legal team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advising business stakeholders on a wide range of legal issues, lead the Singapore legal team, and provide support for related FEED and EPC projects within Singapore.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a comprehensive range of commercial agreements within the FEED/EPC domain.
• Advise business stakeholders on FEED/EPC project bids, associated risks, and other pertinent matters.
• Collaborate closely with the project team to facilitate effective project execution.
• Provide insights on potential legal risks to stakeholders and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Manage litigation and contentious matters across the region.
• Ensure compliance with the company's policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the drafting of policies, guidelines, legal templates, and other documentation to promote best practices.
• Coordinate and liaise directly with external counsel.
• Prepare and implement corporate policies and procedures as necessary, assigned or designated by his/her superior.

Requirements

• LLB/LLM qualification with 3-7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Bar qualification from a Commonwealth jurisdiction, with a preference for Singapore.
• Relevant in-house experience in EPC, utilities, power, or infrastructure, and/or experience in a law firm specializing in construction or projects is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience in project execution and dispute resolution is preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also operating independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a multinational environment is beneficial, and familiarity with Japanese culture is an added asset.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform Patrolling duties for office towers/shopping malls/residential buildings
• Respond to emergencies which includes but not limit to lift traps, power failure, fire/security alarm activation
• Respond promptly to tenants and guests’ feedback and request
• Report of all security breaches and building defects
• Conduct routine checks to ensure workplace compliance to WSH and other legal requirements, Code of Practice and Singapore standards
• Provide high service standard to tenants and guests towards achieving customer delight

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of related experience as a security officer (Candidates with relevant experience could be considered for a Senior role)
• Valid SIRD Security Licence is required
• Shift duty is required with overtime pay on an 8-hour rotating shift, 6 days a week

Responsibilities:

• Execute service and maintenance workflows to ensure smooth operations.
• Liaise closely with client representatives to address all service and maintenance-related issues effectively.
• Assist supervisors in deploying teams for service deliveries and distributing responsibilities efficiently.
• Maintain and troubleshoot security systems, including Integrated Security Management Systems, Card Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, and CCTV systems.

Requirements:

• Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with security systems (Integrated Security Management Systems, Card Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, and CCTV systems).
• Willingness to commit to rotational standby duties for activations outside regular working hours.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
