The purpose of the Palo Alto Strategic Leader and Cloud Security Sales at IBM is to drive net new pipeline development and sales progression of IBM Consulting Cybersecurity Services (CSS) client opportunities that incorporate Palo Alto Networks (PANW)’s technology in the broader solution offered by IBM Consulting (IBMC). These opportunities may be part of an even more comprehensive opportunity that an IBMC Lead Client Partner (LCP) is pursuing with or delivering to the client.

The focus of this role will be to develop new and high value IBMC opportunities for the PANW specific CSS portfolio, which currently includes:

The Palo Alto Strategic Leader and Cloud Security Sales role is client facing. The Palo Alto Strategic Leader and Cloud Security Sales is expected to work with the LCP and CSS Associate Partner (AP) to understand “lay of the land” of the client, including, but not limited to current sales motions, client/industry needs/issues and priorities that are planned, budgeted or currently out of scope and may require CSS advisory services. 1. Sales Activation:

a. Evangelize the value of the PANW strategic partnership and sharing best ways of working together within and across all of IBMC, including within CSS

b. Build collaborative relationships across IBMC (LCPs and CSS) to expedite teaming, opportunity identification, and deal progression

c. Build collaborative relationships across PANW sales to expedite teaming, opportunity identification, deal progression, as well as possible removal of obstacles to close

2. Sales Enablement:

a. Work with across both parties to promote and educate sellers

i. CSS on PANW products and value propositions

ii. PANW sellers on the value of working with IBMC and its GTM strategies, capabilities, and value propositions

b. Manage, market, and promote CSS offerings and PANW as part of a broader IBMC client engagement

i. Articulate CSS offerings and PANW products strengths, potential weaknesses, and roadmap

ii. Assist in RFI and RFP responses

iii. Assist PANW in understanding client c-suite (above the CISO) requirements and how that translates to project scoping and pricing needs from PANW

iv. Maintain relationships with the Palo Alto product teams

c. Participate in joint events like RSA, IBM Think, Black Hat, PANW Ignite and others

d. Gather, develop (with marketing assistance) and promote win stories to drive greater sales velocity

3. Sales Engagement:

a. Target and track joint pursuits from identification through close, including loss reporting

b. Establish and maintain relationships with PANW product sales specialists to allow for internal PANW advocacy of client needs as it pertains to new opportunities and rapid issue resolution

c. Leading joint account workshops which includes:

i. Work with PANW and internal IBMC teams to identify opportunities to team – who, what, where, why and how

2. Providing color commentary, e.g.win stories, best practices, lessons learned, issues to be resolved, etc., to pipeline, forecasts, and other internal and/or joint performance reports

3. Monitoring and reporting against individual metrics, showing current assumptions, progress to date and actions needed or anticipated to ensure achievement

As a Head of Department reporting to the Hotel Manager, the Security & Safety Manager is responsible for the protection and safety of Hotel Guests, Associates and all Assets, both tangible and intangible. He is expected to design and implement a comprehensive security programme consistent with identified risks and putting Guests and Associates’ safety as utmost priority. He is also the appointed Fire Safety Manager of the Hotel.

• Anticipate, identify and put in place plans that helps reduce to manageable proportions all security, safety and health risks, threats and hazards
• Conduct continuing Risk Assessments; identifying all risks affecting the Hotel and recommend interventions, responses and corrective actions and plans
• Liaise with government authorities and agencies including the Singapore Police Force and the Singapore Civil Defence Force on matters pertaining to safety and security issues of concern to the property and its occupants
• Keep abreast of latest trends and news on safety and security and recommend improvements to manage security threats and safety concerns that may directly/indirectly affect the business
• Intelligence gathering, best practice benchmarking and share such information across the Hotel to raise Safety and Security awareness (e.g. compile crime statistics; close liaison with neighbouring Hotels, local police, Consultants etc)
• Responsible for overall carpark management, ensuring efficient and smooth traffic flow. Identity any bottlenecks for improvements
• Carry out investigations of thefts or losses in the hotel premises and submit recommendations of findings. Ensure security intercept and challenge unidentified persons found in restricted areas (e.g. person’s not wearing permits in the HOH areas)
• Continuous monitoring of Hotel activity and premises, ensuring prompt responses to anomalies; suspicious situations and disorder. Strategically control and deploy security associate to cover all critical areas, which may also include conduct of exit bag / parcel searches of contractors; suppliers; casual associates etc
• Review, update and adapt corporate security policies (fire, earthquakes, bomb threats, civil disorder etc) to ensure relevance and compliance
• Work with departments to draw up and operationalise a Crisis Response Plan & Business Continuity Plan. Define organisation and function of the Crisis and Emergency Response Team (CERT), set up a continuing training program and simulation exercises for the members. Direct and supervise ERT response to various crisis situations.
• Conduct regular safety system tests and practice fire drills; evacuation drills, bomb threat drills etc, including table top exercises and relevant training to ensure preparedness.
• Develop and work closely with all departments to drive the Workplace Health & Safety program.
• Develop / enforce effective policy and procedures governing key secure storage, key movements and accountabilities, lock duplication, lockset replacement and Master key allocations
• Ensure adequate and fully functional security systems coverage of all critical areas, eg CCTV, panic alarms, hold-up alarms, fire exit door alarms at all times
• Ensure all incidents/allegations are reported, investigated and documented in a timely manner, making sure of scene preservation: restricting entry into and prohibiting interference with items, objects, marks etc found within the identified scene boundary; with proper recording and gathering
• Supervise interviews / fact finding of suspects, victims and witnesses and ensuring all statements are duly recorded in a timely manner.
• Generate and submit a concise and comprehensive incident report with probable cause and recommendations for prevention of recurrence.
• Coordinate with police authorities when necessary and appropriate for any incidences in the Hotel
• Studies loss events, establishes possible patterns and trends (e.g. crime trends) and provide management appropriate counter-measures and recommendations of preventive measures
• Deliver superior security service for special events and VIP visits (eg Heads of state visits; celebrity functions etc).
• Meet clients / security representatives from Corporate /Government / State organisations etc - identify and address special security and safety needs / concerns.
• Maintain regular monthly dialogue meetings with all security personnel to ensure timely and open communication at all times; resolve all work issues, working relationship concerns and operational difficulties. Guide and coach security personnel.
• Regular training of all Associates, including casuals and contractors on safety and security and the role they play in keeping the Hotel a safe and secured place of work.
• Incorporate guest service into all elements of the security operation. Proactive support of other Departments involving delivery of guest service.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Registration of scanned copy and hardcopy of contracts and agreements (excluding contracts from Operation Department);
• Assisting Legal Counsels in the review of contracts/documents (upon request by respective Legal Counsel);
• Liaising with insurance broker on the renewal of Directors and Officers insurance policy and arranging for the necessary internal approvals via OA;
• Assigning Management Directive Numbers to respective departments and registration of issued Management Directives;
• Going through notarisation and legalisation processes in Singapore for certain documents from subsidiaries and associates;
• Assisting the Request for Proposals for provision of legal services on the renewal of Letter to Shareholders;
• Assisting with the logistics of Board and Board Committee meetings: printing and compiling meeting papers, coordinating with CNAF directors, checking the format of meeting papers which are written in Chinese, etc.;
• Proofreading documents which are translated in Chinese, e.g. Letter of Appointment of directors, Board resolutions, agreements for projects, Letter to Shareholders, and emails, etc.;
• Translating documents, e.g. Board resolutions, emails, director’s CVs, other letters or documents which are confidential in nature;
• Arranging expense requests and claims which are under Legal;
• Assisting subsidiaries in 1) drafting letters in relation to the change of nominated directors; 2) drafting Board resolutions in relation to the change of directors and authorised bank signatories; 3) assisting CAFEU German office with change of bank signatories and directors matters;
• Preparation of documents for opening of, closure of bank accounts and change in authorised bank signatories, sending the set of documents to the banks;
• Assisting in preparing the annual budget for the Legal and Compliance Department;
• Providing documents requested by auditors (if necessary), banks and counterparties and filling in the KYC forms;
• Participating in the procurement team meetings relating to legal matters and drafting meeting minutes;
• Drafting department monthly meetings, work done and work plan of team members;
• Assisting with the drafting of certain papers for Board and Board Committee meetings as assigned;
• Filling in the forms and drafting of reports requested to be submitted to CNAF from time to time; drafting and/or collecting department news articles to be published on OA;
• Drafting and collecting the materials in relation to Legal and Company Secretary aspects for Business Analysis and Work Review Meeting;
• Responsible for the organising of the CVs of directors, as well as organising Company information, policies and other documents for the orientation of newly appointed directors;
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Legal and Compliance.

Requirements

1. Bachelor in related field or equivalent;
2. Min. 5 years of experience in paralegal work, preferably with exposure in corporate secretarial work;
3. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications;
4. Meticulous, conscientious and possess good communication and interpersonal skills;
5. Good ethics and professional conduct, and with strong sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit;
6. Good organisational, time management skills and stress tolerance with proven ability to manage multiple priorities;
7. Excellent command of English and Chinese languages (as the position needs to frequently communicate with English/Chinese speaking stakeholders verbally/ in writing as well as to prepare and proof-read English/Chinese official documents and presentations whenever appropriate).
