About the Team

Join the APAC Legal team which leads all aspects of legal support for Adobe teams in the Asia Pacific region (main market areas include Australia, New Zealand, ASEAN countries, India, Korea, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan). We are a highly collaborative team and our mission is to play a key role in regional growth and give our business partners the best possible experience in working with Legal.

The Opportunity

The Legal Counsel will be located in Singapore, reporting into the Senior Managing Counsel in Singapore. You will provide legal support primarily for the South-East Asia region, with opportunities to cross support other markets within Asia Pacific. You will act as a Legal partner for Sales teams in region, providing guidance to and mentoring sales personnel to close deals for the company by employing ethical and sound business practices. This involves working on enterprise licensing transactions (for both software and cloud services), channel partner agreements, consulting/professional services agreements, etc.

Other responsibilities include the following:

• Supporting anti-piracy efforts and license compliance programs
• Keeping up with legal developments in region and ensuring that Adobe’s agreements and business practices are in line with such developments
• Supporting the procurement organization
• Leading or participating in global cross-functional projects to drive efficiency improvements

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's of Law or equivalent degree
• Licensed to practise law in Singapore, Malaysia or other relevant APAC jurisdictions.
• About 6-8 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house
• Experience and proficiency in technology licensing contracts, intellectual property law, and privacy is a plus. Otherwise, demonstrate keen interest in these areas.

A glimpse of what you’ll do:

• Reporting to Group Information Security Office .
• Lead in information security risk advisory for projects.
• Collaborate with Business Project Sponsors and solutions architect to review the system architecture and system security to identity IT security risks.
• Assess risk mitigation measures and provide effective challenge and propose viable alternatives if required;
• Conduct thematic review on information security and cybersecurity controls to provide security assurance for information systems.
• Establish and maintain application system risk assessment processes, procedures and checklists.
• Assist Group CISO with yearly review of information system risk assessment methodologies and processes.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent fields
• At least 5 years of experience in IT security, information security and cybersecurity.
• Good working knowledge with network, application and platform security technologies and cybersecurity architecture.
• Good working knowledge on security baseline standards for standard platform operating systems, databases, and network technologies.
• Good working knowledge of common SDLC models (such as waterfall model and agile), security-by-design framework, and security management frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Good knowledge in IOT security, Cloud computing security.
• Self-motivated with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Good written and communication skills.
• CISSP, CISA, CRISC and /or OSCP advantageous.

Job Description:

• To assist PM on all site matters and operations on site.
• Planning & deployment of all resources, facilities & the arrangement of these resources & facilities on site upon approval from the clients, consultant & PM.
• Schedule of works delegation to the work persons, sub-contractors & all employees on site.
• Administered the work schedule is in accordance to the approved master program.
• To convene meeting with the PM & Site team & Sub-contractors on all matters of work operation, methods and details of construction.
• To advise & instruct all work persons employed & the sub-contractors or suppliers on site operations matters.
• To make all necessary decisions on the methods & work operations issues whenever there is discrepancy upon approval from the PM, respective authorities or consultants to ensure the site smooth operations.
• To issue any stop work order, if necessary, on site whenever there any unsafe act or conditions that the CM deemed is unfit for the work person on site to carry on the work safely.

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience on site operation.
• Knowledge in contract/tender documents administration
