A BIM Coordinator is responsible for liaising and maintaining 3D models of the physical spaces that will be built. These models are used as a reference point throughout the construction process, allowing everyone involved to see exactly what needs to be done at any given time. Building information models (BIM) are virtual files used to aid decision-making during the building process. BIM modelers work closely with architects and engineers to develop designs for clients.

Responsibilities:

· Support and Liaise with BIM Modelling for specific design discipline under the supervision / direction of BIM Lead / Engineer.

· Ensure models / drawings accuracy based on BIM standards and BIM project workflow criteria / checklist.

· Ensure all productions are completed on schedule or in a timely manner.

· Report regularly to BIM Lead / Engineer on the progress of work.

· Ensure all exported information are recorded in the correct directory.

· Perform QAQC on modelled elements to ensure quality.

Qualifications:

· Diploma or equivalent in relevant discipline

· Minimum 5 years relevant experience

· Experience in Revit and/or 2OpenBuildings / OpenRoads / OpenRail / OpenBridges (Depending on Trades as required), AECOsim

· Experience and knowledge in relevant system design

· Basic knowledge on reading and interpretation of engineering drawings

· Experience in BIM 360 and/or ProjectWise is of an advantage.

WHAT’S THE JOB?

Work in co-operation with the business development team and co-ordinates the preparation and issuance of business proposals and contracts, and bookings for guestrooms and/or event venues. Proficient in the application of all sales and catering booking systems and processes to maintain customer profiles. Provide high level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, collecting and processing sensitive data and also resolving guest issues.
