Requirements

Candidates possess at least a Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Construction management/ Transportations or equivalent.

At least 2 years of fleet management or transportation management experiences, preferably from construction/civil engineering industry.

Job scope

Tracking and submission of documentation related to material movement (P.O / D.O).

Update reports on inventory and highlight any discrepancies.

Verify purchases and storage of inventory.

Facilitate enquiries with regards to office, equipment and inventory.

Allocate and direct manpower according to fleet schedule.

Submission and approval of personnel for clearance matters.

Generation and verification of temporary passes.

Ensure timely and accurate submissions of various documents.

Any other ad-hoc tasks as instructed by Logistics Manager.

Work Location: Changi Naval Base, Project Office at Geylang area

Logistic manager is a professional responsible for overseeing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods and materials within an organization. Their primary objective is to ensure that products are delivered to the right location, at the right time, and in the most cost-effective and efficient manner possible.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Determine the most efficient routes for transporting goods to minimize time and costs while ensuring timely delivery.

2. Source, negotiate contracts with, and manage relationships with suppliers and service providers such as carriers and third-party logistics (3PL) companies.

3. Control and reduce transportation, inventory, and warehousing costs through effective negotiation, strategic planning, and optimization of resources.

4. Design and optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize space utilization, improve efficiency, and facilitate smooth material flow.

5. Implement inventory management strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels, reduce stockouts and overstock situations, and improve inventory turnover. 6. Ensure the quality of goods throughout the supply chain by implementing quality control measures and monitoring supplier performance.
