• Assisting Safety Officer in incident/workplace investigations and corrective action recommendations
• In Charge of safety documentation and control
• Conduct necessary risk assessment
• Ensuring Environmental, Safety and Health practices are carried out at all times
• Other Ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time

• Secondary education with a Safety Coordination certificate is A Must
• Minimum 2 years of relevant construction safety experience
• Processes Work-At-Height & other safety certificates is an added advantage
• Good interpersonal skills and a team player

Responsibility:

• Oversee and lead the Safety team & sub-contractors in the implementation of company’s safety systems at sites
• Liaise closely with site operations staff, project managers, clients, and Consultants on safety, health and environmental matters
• Conduct and lead the daily site safety operation as required by the main contractor
• Conduct daily inspection and ensure closure to the findings.
• Attend safety meeting, inspection as required by main contractor
• Liaise with main contractor on all related documents submission
• Assist in accident reporting and investigations
• Assist in routine WSH audit as required
• Any other duties and responsibility as assigned by the site management

Requirements:

• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health by WDA or BCA is required as a Safety Coordinator
• Work at Height Course for Assessor / Managing Work at Height
• Minimum 2 years of safety experience in civil /building works. Preferably with LTA /airport experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Energetic & objective orientated
• Willing to work long hours
• Singaporeans only

• Conduct Safety Internal Audits & Risk Assessment; implementing Health Safety Environment Management System.
• Oversee administration and advising / directing the Safety, Environment, Health & Security Systems and safe working environment.
• Investigate employee Health and Safety complaints; discuss findings and recommends possible solutions in a timely manner.
• Advise employers / employees about safe, healthy work practises and procedures, health / safety management.
