The Research Engineer will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) on quadrotor path planning, control, SLAM, swarm path planning, and cooperative transport. The approach will leverage the advantages of both deep reinforcement learning and conventional controls, combining model-based and model-free methods. Strong hardware experience and C++ coding especially related to quadrotor path planning and control are required.

The initial appointment duration is 12 months, which can then be extended based on an evaluation at the end of the initial appointment.

The candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a reputable university, and with strong hardware expertise in aerial robotics.

A successful candidate should have a solid mathematical background (such as in calculus, linear algebra, optimization, etc.). • Undertake escalation for Enterprise Networking related matters from level 1 helpdesk engineers, perform level 1/2/3 on site troubleshooting and hardware field replacement works for customers.
• Responsible for updating technical documentations for configuration changes made via helpdesks and/or managed services customers.
• Responsible for opening and closing of support tickets when applicable and providing timely updates to helpdesk personnel and customer for support cases that has been allocated to you

The Individual and their Experience:

• Knowledge of ITIL principles, particularly Incident, Change, Problem and Service Management
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experiences in network operations including network, wireless, security technologies.
• Experienced on working with vendors and customer on outage situation and provide direction to juniors and customer on recovering services affectively.
• Hands on experience in operations and BAU for fixing user/infra issues in production environment is essential.

• Management of daily network activities, incident and problem and security incident response.
• Responsible to work with the respective server and application teams’ members in trouble-shooting and identify root cause, related to network.
