Job Description & Requirements

The MEP Engineer is responsible for all aspects of mechanical and electrical engineering activities, processes, and construction of projects.

· Monitor and report on the progress of work to project manager;

· Control the progress of RFA, RFI, Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions and Equipment/Material Procurement/Fabrication/Delivery Status for on-time completion.

· Coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants, and subcontractors on all technical matters, including submission of method statement, drawings, materials, samples and work progress;

· Control site progress & installation quality as per approved Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions and Equipment/Material Procurement/Fabrication/Delivery Schedule for on-time completion.

· Carry out inspection of MEP works prior to concreting or subsequent construction works;

· Assist in supervising and coordinating MEP services work closely with other departments;

· Assist for submission of evaluation of progress claim, variation work to M&E Manager

· Participate in all relevant project review meetings, site meetings, design meetings, and other project relevant meetings;

· Responsible for carrying out M&E technical meetings and resolving technical issues with record.

· Responsible for M&E drawing coordination and production of CSD and individual service drawings quality.

· Responsible for conducting QA/QC inspection, managing RE, RTO and responsible for clearing QA/QC inspections to meet with construction schedule.

· Provide and maintain all site inspection records & T&C records up to date.

· Ensure quality of MEP workmanship and compliance with safety and environmental requirements

Requirements:

· Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, recognized by PE Board Singapore;

· Minimum 3 years’ work experience related projects in Singapore building and construction industry;

· Electrical/Mechanical Engineering experience in HDB projects or high-rise developments;

· Possess strong Electrical/Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experiences;

· Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate with site teams to execute work

The Supply Chain Process Engineer leads the implementation of best-in-class Logistics and Warehousing capabilities for Singapore market, to transform the local supply chain for better agility, ultimate luxury service, cost and cash efficiencies and sustainability, leveraging digitalization and automation. The role spans across internal three divisions – Beauty, Fashion and Watches & Fine Jewelry. Lead discussions for all topics related to warehousing and transportation transformation, while proposing to the Head of Supply Chain final process improvements and decisions to be made:

1. Warehouse & Transportation Management:

• Order Management: Establish strategies and implement plans to move to a touchless order management flow – from order acquisition to order processing and to order release to warehousing operations for pick and pack
• Warehouse operations: Define strategies to implement best-in-class operations for the warehousing team, looking at opportunities to implement automation solutions in the areas of receiving, stock counting, picking, packing and/or shipping. And be the project leader for implementation of the strategies, in a way that lead times to customers are reduced and team’s productivity is increased.
• Inventory management: Upgrade inventory management processes to cover all domain of inventories – selling items, visual merchandizing items and all non-selling stocks. Implement inventory forecasting and warehouse capacity planning to improve business plans and business continuity. In driving alignment with business teams, Head of Supply Chain should be consulted and will need to sign off on final process. This role will need to propose options for the business teams and Head of Supply Chain to consider.
• Transportation management: Redesign transportation management with better work integration with transportation companies and better efficiency for the team.

2. Digital Transformation

• Streamline work processes: Lead the transformation to a fully digital organization, with objectives to streamline work processes and complete elimination of low added-value tasks with improved lead time, better compliance to global policies and better productivity. This includes deployment of new IT solutions and/or development of no/low code solution for the team
• Digital Twin: upon completion of foundation layer of digitalization, lead the implementation of a warehousing and transportation digital twin, creating a virtual model of the existing operation and enabling advanced analytics, scenario planning and cost and inventory optimizations

3. Others

• Continuously keep abreast of and advise management regarding changes or latest trends in warehouse and transportation management practices
