SUMMARY

The Logistics & Automation Department's Service Engineer will be primarily responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our warehouse automation equipment and is expected to work at customer sites regularly. The Service Engineer must handle equipment involving mechanical parts, motors, PLC programming, and electrical wiring in control boxes.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot our automated warehouse systems.
2. Communicate and resolve equipment problems while working with other team members
3. Prepare service and maintenance reports after the task is completed.
4. Liaise with customers to arrange jobs and update customers on work progress.
5. Attend to customer inquiries, prepare quotations, and arrange deliveries of replacement parts.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum requirement of an ITE Diploma in an engineering-related discipline.
2. Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
3. Training will be provided. No prior experience is required.
4. Basic knowledge of Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) is an advantage.

PREFERRED SKILLS

1. Possesses good communication skills and teamwork.
2. Can be relied upon to complete tasks without constant supervision.
3. Able to manage duties and work under stress during busy periods.
4. Ability to diagnose technical problems arising from mechanical equipment.

- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.

- At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the construction-related projects

- Abilities to work with Consultants

- Required Skill(s): AutoCAD, project management, good communication skills, good personal-relationship skill

- Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.

• The 1st Level Remote Support is required to provide 1st level troubleshooting to users queries/incidents received (regardless of source; in a professional and timely manner)
• Provide First Call Resolution (FCR) technical support via phone and email. Ensure calls are answered and emails are responded in a timely manner.
• Perform first level troubleshooting on all reported incidents and escalate incidents to 2nd level resolver groups as per work instructions.
• Furnish and submit timely updates to customers on the status of outstanding issues within targeted Service Level
• Maintain ownership of cases and follow-up on reported issues until closure and gather accurate and complete relevant information is recorded.
• Manage customer expectations and notify Team Lead in the event of unusual surge in calls of a specific nature.
• Handle initial classification/ prioritization of the incidents. Track the progress of resolution and provide regular updates for follow-up actions and incident status.

Job Responsibilities:

• To assume the lead role of ILS manager for the assigned projects
• To perform Reliability, Maintainability and ILS related analysis
• To lead in designing and implementation of the ILS planning data to customer and ensure completeness and accuracy of the deliverables
• To lead in design and implementation of the ILS plan for delivering training on maintenance works to customer
• To constantly conceptualize and implement process optimization for better efficiency in execution of schedules
• To manage the ILS activities for ILS Management Plan

Job Requirement:

• Knowledge and Work experience in defence platform and industrial maintenance management projects or programs
• At least 5 years of relevant experience is required
• Possess project management experience, include running projects concurrently
• Possess good stakeholders management experience to front both internal and external stakeholders
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Good written, verbal communication skills in English is required
• Able to travel overseas and visit project site when required
