Duties:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks as directed, and update the CMMS database.
• Maintain rotating and static equipment, plant piping, and structural support systems.
• Respond to and resolve equipment malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Determine necessary materials, tools, and methods for safe maintenance tasks.
• Conduct machinery condition monitoring and field data collection with the production team.
• Ensure operational efficiency of all plant valves and mechanical components, including control and plant valve maintenance.
• Supervise in-house contractors and vendors, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with the production team on mechanical system testing and troubleshooting.
• Take on additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
• Perform valve line-up and LOTO for maintenance preparations.
• Participate in the Company's Emergency Response Team (CERT) with assigned roles.

Requirements

• Nitec in Engineering related field.
• Min 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
• Experience in troubleshooting of mechanical/ machinery systems

Your position as a Maintenance Associate oversees KINN properties in Engineering Activities, including equipment maintenance, repairs, operations, and managing materials and supplies. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, evaluating project designs, overseeing construction, managing inventory, evaluating contracts, and reporting progress to superiors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Directs, coordinates, and participates in all activities related to engineering matters.

• Installing, maintaining, repairing, and operating equipment and related systems.
• Receiving, storing, issuing, and controlling Engineering materials and supplies.
• Maintaining, installing, or repairing M & E equipment, building works, etc.

2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance and repair schedules for all equipment, machinery, and other facilities.

3. Prepares and/or evaluates designs and specifications for all Engineering projects, supervises the installation and construction of all Engineering work, and submits periodic reports on project status and operating performance to superior.

4. Controls and sees to adequate inventory of all Engineering supplies.

5. Evaluate all Engineering contracts and bids and submit recommendations to the superior.

6. Sees that all Engineering installations, constructions, and operations comply with building codes and government rules and regulations and acts as liaison with government agencies concerned.

7. Develop policies and procedures to govern and control activities of Engineering.

8. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures and recommend necessary changes.

9. To work closely with other department Heads and all staff to achieve and maximize guests’ satisfaction and smooth workflow.

10. Supervise contractors’ work within the building facilities.

11. To standby for recall and in the event of an emergency

Requirements

• ITE / Diploma in Facilities Management Services / Estate Management / Building Maintenance / Engineering
• or related fields.
• Preferably 1 year of experience in a similar industry
• Able to work beyond normal working hours (5-day work week) and on weekends/ PHs where required.
• Good team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Scope:

• Responsible for sourcing for direct / indirect materials, dealing with vendors and negotiating for the best price and payment term from local / overseas vendors
• Collaborate and maintain good working relationship with stakeholders and vendors, for planning and initiation of necessary procurement
• Liaison with vendors for timely delivery and monitor all purchases to avoid any shortages, overcharges and defects of materials
• Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with stakeholders, vendors and identify process bottleneck, propose and implement solutions to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Assist to implement internal procurement strategies
• Prepare, develop and review department contracts for new and existing supplier, and constantly monitoring the validity and expiry of each contract
• Prepare and develop various documentations (e.g. Tender, SOPs, Work Instruction, Reports, etc.) and monitor the validity & expiry of each documentation
• Assist as the System Administrator for section’s Maintenance Management System (MMS)
• Monitor and track Asset Life Cycle for planning of asset renewal and/or disposal
• Support Budgetary Planning and Costing
• Any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Possess a Degree in Business Admin / Supply Chain is preferred
• Possess 1 – 3 years of relevant working experience in Asset Management / Supply Chain Management / Procurement
• No experience are welcome and training will be provided
• Prior experience from equipment maintenance industry or with experience in electrical spare parts is advantageous
• Hands-on experience on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems (e.g. ServiceNow, SAP, Maximo, Oracle) is advantageous
• Able to work well independently and in a team under a challenging and fast-paced environment
