This role overseeing and handle company's facilities maintenance

1. Duties of Technical Service Engineer:

• Provide after-sales technical support for equipment installation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site acceptance tests, oversee commissioning processes, and assist with the start-up of Insulating Glass machinery.
• Interface with customers for after-sales service, identify their needs, and provide tailored solutions.
• Address and resolve on-site maintenance issues by troubleshooting and offering technical support.
• Work collaboratively with customers to fulfill repair schedules effectively.
• Deliver training sessions to help customers optimize product performance.
• Provide feedback from the field to engineering and production teams for product improvements or new designs.
• Ensure compliance with validation processes, including product applications, controls, and documentation.

Requirements:

• Must be very willing to travel as there are times the travelling can take up to 8 weeks.
• Physical ability to handle heavy machinery parts and tool kits (>30kg).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Prior working experience in a technical servicing role is a must.
• Hands-on experience in servicing and the ability to work independently at job sites.
• Willingness to travel for service assignments within the SEA region.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Job Description:

• Support engineers in conducting site acceptance tests, commissioning, and start-up for transformers and switchgear. Knowledge of UPS, Low Voltage/Medium Voltage Variable Speed Drives, and PLC systems is a plus.
• Perform preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, fault investigation, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment.
• Provide field operations and technical support to customers, helping them identify their needs and offering post-sales service solutions.
• Address on-site repair and maintenance issues, troubleshoot, and effectively resolve technical problems. Deliver field feedback to engineering and manufacturing teams to assist in new product development and improvements to existing products.
• Manage the procurement of spare parts from Supplier

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/ITE in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in technical servicing roles.
• Hands-on experience in customer service with the ability to work independently on-site.
• 1 to 2 years of field service experience in a related industry.
• Strong communication & analytical skills.
• Must be ready to travel on business trips
