Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and track chiller maintenance activities.
• Ensure adherence to maintenance checklists and schedules.
• Test, commission, and fine-tune new chillers independently.
• Oversee on-site project execution, including FAT and SAT, for optimal chiller performance.
• Interpret technical documents, as-built drawings, and schematics.
• Analyze operating data and address repair issues as needed.
• Manage chiller overhauls and supervise subcontractors for quality assurance.
• Prepare detailed service reports for each assignment.
• Address customer service issues promptly and recommend preventive measures.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety during service and repairs.
• Perform additional tasks as required by the Department Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum ITE Certificate with Merit in Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience with chiller systems.
• Proficient in guiding and troubleshooting HVAC faults, particularly with modular screw chillers, centrifugal chillers, and absorption chillers
• Willingness to undertake short-term overseas assignments

Job Scope:

• Plan and implement the execution of preventive and corrective programs for the equipment

• Ensure JSA or JHA is received and reviewed for planning
• Accurately plan preventive work orders to cover the full scope of operations, maintenance, and safety requirements
• Conduct EM/ EI meeting to ensure operation, maintenance and assurance are align on job requirement, due dates, and readiness to execute
• Create new preventive maintenance tasks from RCM studies
• Scope out the tasks for work requirements and HSE requirements such as permits, safety plans
• Breakdown the scope into logical tasks or steps
• Plan work orders on time for labour, materials, and services by using task lists as much as possible and procure them through GSAP
• Ensure materials purchased received, job packs and permits readiness before job scheduling process take placePlan for any constraints such as long lead items.
• Tasks work order operation steps to other disciplines or contractors for further detail planning
• Check that planned work is within realistic completion dates
• Highlight potential PM job unable to execute due to its specific constrain and support timely deferment of PM job not executed
• Supports annual maintenance spend S$10M
