Position: Lift Technician
Employment Type: Full-time

Work Location: Islandwide Singapore (Travel Required)

Monthly Base Salary: Up to SGD 2,800 (Based on Progressive Wage Model & Technical Assessment)

Potential Monthly Gross Salary: Up to SGD 3,200 ++
Working Hours:

• 5-Day Work Week (Monday to Friday)
• Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
• Night Shift: 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. (Permanent night or rotational Day/Night)

Key Responsibilities:
As a Lift Technician, you will:

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as inspections, lubrication, and mechanical adjustments to ensure optimal system performance.
• Swiftly diagnose and repair malfunctions or defects to minimize system downtime.
• Perform thorough testing and inspection of safety devices to meet regulatory compliance.
• Recommend and replace worn or damaged parts to ensure system reliability and longevity.
• Provide on-site repairs and respond promptly to emergency breakdowns, prioritizing client convenience.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work for documentation and future reference.

Entry Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, you should:

• Have at least 1 year of practical experience in the lift, elevator, and escalator industry.
• Demonstrate the ability to travel across Singapore for job assignments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Management of annual/specific Project and Maintenance activities/budgets (both Mechanical and E&I) throughout fiscal year to achieve department goals
• Ensuring that the relevant maintenance strategies as well as industry best practices are applied to the activities for maintenance and modifications in the plant so as to achieve reliability and availability of plant equipment of the highest level
• Ensures all plant and equipment is maintained to the highest level of safety for work to avoid lost time accidents, with immediate response and thorough investigations and corrective actions for all hazardous occurrences and accidents
• Ensure all Mechanical and E&I maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with the Company’s HSEQ Standards, statutory requirements, Company Maintenance & Management System and best industry maintenance practices
• Ensuring that there are adequate procedures and systems put in place for maintenance activities conducted within the process plant
• Oversee all facilities planning and operations/functions including the maintenance, modification control of equipment, space allocation, move and construction
• Works with counterparts in parent and subsidiary companies on technology transfers to raise maintenance performance standards
• Line management responsibility for Maintenance team members
• Approval of all work requests for equipment maintenance and modifications related to improvements and safety of process and plant
• Approval of requisition for new equipment and maintenance spares
• Approval of Contractors’ daily timesheets
• Approval of the daily maintenance activities and modifications in the plant
• Approval of grade change maintenance activities, in consultation with production department
• Planning and managing the shutdown maintenance
• Provide training needs of Maintenance team members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and competencies to carry out their work in an efficient manner
• Assessment and review of in-house contractors’ performance and the contract
• Undertakes special assignments or projects as directed by the Manufacturing Director

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant qualification with minimum five years of related working experience in the Chemical industry
• Experiences and knowledge about maintenance of mechanical rotating equipment and static facilities
• Experiences as E&I Process/Maintenance Engineer at chemical plant or manufacturing facility
• Familiar with high voltage power supply/MCC, control panel and/or DCS design and system to manage establishment
