Manager / Assistant Manager – Branding and Marketing Relations (PIAR) [NIE]

Responsibilities:

NIE is seeking to hire a Manager/Assistant Manager – Branding and Marketing Relations in the Public, International & Alumni Relations Department. This position oversees marketing, branding, and publicity for NIE to both internal and external stakeholders using various platforms. It ensures the alignment of NIE's image with its mission, vision, and values. The position also manages and plans corporate events and visits, ensuring positive brand experience amongst guests and visitors. This is a 1-year contract position.

The responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

1. Build and manage NIE’s brand identity and reputation

a. Enforce brand guidelines to ensure consistent use of the NIE identity across all channels and touchpoints.

b. Continuously review and refinement of NIE brand management strategies to ensure that the brand remains relevant.

c. Produce marketing and publicity assets both above and below the line.

2. Manage the NIE corporate website as business lead

a. Oversee the management of the NIE corporate website.

b. Develop strategies that would align key messages in line with the NIE roadmap to ensure currency and relevance of content.

c. Work with departments across NIE for content management and approval

3. Organise corporate events such as:

a. Visits.

b. Anniversary celebrations.

c. Centre launches.

d. Graduation events.

e. Alumni events.

Requirements:

· A university degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing or Communications.

· At least three years of working experience in a relevant field.

· High-level of written and oral communication skills and strong networking skills.

· Proven experience in partner/event management, working with diverse teams to achieve objectives.

· Strong attention to details in presenting high quality marketing and communications content.

· Experience in PR, branding, marketing, content production or media relations will be an advantage.

· A dynamic team player who can also work independently.

· Adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong conceptual and analytical skills.

· Good research skills with a keen eye for details.

Other Information

• Oversee day-to-day financial matters, month-end and year-end accounts closing related to Payroll, which include:Maintaining complete and systematic records relating to employees' pay and must be thoroughly conversant with the relevant statutes and payroll regulations.
• Involved in payroll processing and its related duties
• Analyse reasons for variation in manpower expense for monthly adhoc reporting
• Regular review on compliance to statutory requirements.

You will be part of a team to conceptualize and implement new initiatives to support the employment of senior workers aged 50 years old and above. You will be working with a range of stakeholders such as employers, senior worker communities and/or intermediaries.

Your responsibilities include:

- Programme conceptualization

• Identify and assess new ways to support (i) employers in addressing their manpower challenges; (ii) senior workers in securing employment opportunities; and (iii) intermediaries to improve matching of senior workers to opportunities.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders such as strategic partners, labour market intermediaries and government agencies
• Consult and work with stakeholders to design effective interventions to support employers and senior workers

- Programme management and implementation

• Design and develop end-to-end employer- and senior worker-centric user journey
• Account manage appointed partners, from the appointment to the management of their respective contracts and deliverables,
• Review programme parameters and operational processes to ensure programme effectiveness and operational efficiency
• Develop and implement marketing campaigns
• Manage the overall administration, including budget utilisation and requirement projections, data reporting, and audit and governance.

Requirements

You should have the following work experience and knowledge:

• Relevant experience in areas such as business development, project management and planning
• Good understanding of Singapore's labour market, including the intermediaries and their role in matching supply and demand
• Strong command of written and spoken English
• Prior experience working with PMET senior workers aged 50 years old and above, will be advantageous
• Prior experience working with C-suite level stakeholders and partners, will be advantageous
• Proficient in using MS Office software especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Candidates without the required qualifications, including fresh graduates, but with relevant experience are welcome to apply
