In this role, you will:

• Act as subject matter expert (SME) in IPT Maintenance team with in-depth knowledge in Purified water system, HVAC and Electrical & Instrumentation.
• You will take ownership for the HVAC and purified water system day to day support and continues improvement.
• Experience in manufacturing in a GMP HVAC environment utilizing ISO 14644-1 classifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety & compliance

• Lead or support investigation, participate in trouble shooting and root cause analysis for various operational events, and also ensure that all relevant engineering CAPA are completed within agreed timeline.
• Lead and manage change control on project activities or act as technical advisor for plant modifications, capital projects and other identified plant improvement projects in line with defined specifications, budget and qualification of facilities in accordance with site to approved procedures.

• Lead and develop Business and GMP processes, formalized them into site procedures required for startup and commercial launch.

Operations excellence

• Plans, monitors, schedules, and implements measures on the Planned Preventive Maintenance Program and also ensures that the work is done in accordance with schedule and specification.
• Regularly review and revise maintenance program and procedures to increase equipment reliability, reduce waste and improve overall asset care process & cost efficiency.
• Work with Engineering & Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) to execute a 'reliability-centric’ maintenance plan
• Share best practices and lessons learned with the objective of improving asset utilization.
• Undertake activities to support realization of production, maintenance and product cost effectiveness with emphasis on equipment reliability and maintenance expenses.
• Conducts Maintenance effectiveness / optimization reviews along with IPT maintenance leads/Engineers/Technicians

Continuous Improvements (CI)

• Utilize Lean methodologies such as 5S, Standard Work, real-time problem solving (RTPS), to support execution of continuous improvement activities.
• Support the development of continuous improvement framework and work with the Maintenance team to identify opportunities.
• Compile and review data and develops action plans for critical HVAC systems and Purified water systems to improve reliability and reduce M&R cost.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
• 5 to 8 years of maintenance work experience in Chemical, Semiconductor, aviation, oil & gas or Petrochemical industry.

Requirements

· Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore will be an advantage.

· Minimally have completed 1 cycle of a project with project value of $50M and above.

· Minimum 6 years relevant project management experience in local construction industry.

· Possess excellent leadership, planning, interpersonal communication and negotiation skills to lead a team of engineers and manage subcontractors.

General Overview

The position is part of the Instrument Control and Electrical(ICE) team who is responsible for overseeing the safe and effective site execution of all electrical maintenance services and activities at the LNG Terminal.

Roles and ResponsibilIties

The incumbent shall be responsible for tasks and duties such as but not limited to the following:

• Ensuring compliance with SLNG safety procedures, local and international electrical codes and standards
• Supervising and lead a team of electrical technicians and contractors with installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
• Developing, conducting and ensuring that E&I team members complete the relevant structured on the job training program
• Conducting site work inspection and quality control checks on all electrical works
• Reviewing and approving all electrical isolation permits and excavation permits and other permist that is of electrical and instrument nature.
• Leading the investigation for electrical maintenance abnormality incidents in order to identify root causes of problem as well as recommending and implementing solutions
• Working with SLNG electrical engineers to develop and implement maintenance program for electrical equipment to ensure reliability/resolve any maintenance problems
• Conducting morning tool box meeting with a focus on safety and smooth execution of maintenance activities
• Participating in emergency response procedures and be assigned to any specific roles and responsibilities for such purpose.

Work Experience

• Minimum 8 years (or 15 years for diploma) of experience in an oil and gas/petrochemical E&I maintenance supervisory role
• Expert knowledge and proficiency in low and medium voltage electrical system, power transmission, network communication equipment, Motors, CCTV, security system, Earthing, lightning protection and PLC system is mandatory. Knowledge in DCS an added advantage to excel in the role
