We are looking for an experienced digital piano technician to join our regional team. The role is based in Singapore and will be focused on delivering the best possible customer service for the musical instrument repair industry. As a Freelance Digital Piano Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining digital pianos for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of digital piano technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
● Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with digital pianos, including electrical, mechanical, and software-related problems.
● Perform repairs and maintenance on various models of digital pianos.
● Conduct regular inspections and tune-ups to ensure optimal performance.
● Provide detailed reports on the condition and necessary repairs for each instrument.
● Offer expert advice and guidance to clients regarding the care and maintenance of their digital pianos.
● Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in digital piano technology and repair techniques.
● Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
● Communicate effectively with clients and supporting teammates to schedule appointments and provide updates on repair progress.
Qualifications:
● Proven experience as a digital piano technician or similar role.
● Strong knowledge of digital piano technology, including hardware, software, and electronics.
● Proficient in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
● Strong communication and customer service skills.
● Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (on-site work is required).
Preferred Qualifications:
● Certification or formal training in digital piano repair or a related field.
● Experience working with a variety of digital piano brands and models.
● Familiarity with MIDI technology and software.
