General
This position is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of the TOX (Thermal Oxidizer) plant, advanced water treatment facility, incinerator, and disposal facilities (loading / unloading) to ensure the efficient, safe, and economical treatment of wastewater, disposal and within regulatory limits.
Purpose of the role
This role is responsible for:
•Manage day to day operations of TOX facilities and maintenance of the system.
•The monitoring team shall sample and test the TOX boiler for conductivity, pH and other assigned parameters.
•Shall work with assigned qualified laboratory for test samplings for Legionella, environmental related parameters.
•Shall monitor the system setpoints, thresholds, and respond with corrective actions followed by escalation of any deviation or variation through the escalation processes.
•Daily inspection of the system, to manage PTW (permit-to-work) system, qualified risk assessor, to prepare ECC (energy change control) or LOTO (lock-out Tag-out) processes.
•Involved in IPT Tier 1 and Tier 2 meetings.
•Work on projects whenever assigned by IPT/IFM.
•Understand DI (data integrity) importance and also to involve in DI Gemba weekly.
• Responsible and participation for TOX area for both internal and external audit inspections.
• Management of TOX align with IPT for schedule plant shutdowns or project related.
• Responsible for investigating incident reports, responding to relevant HazOp studies and completion and follow-up of specific risk assessments. • Able to analyze and troubleshoot, able to draw accurate conclusions from analysis to support decision making and makes timely decisions for the operations.
•To review and adhere to SOP (standard operating procedures).
