As a Retail Coffee Specialist, you will be part of the exciting and new omni-channel retail team, representing PPP Coffee on the frontline to advance our mission in connecting people with coffee. You will drive PPP Coffee's retail concept store and will be responsible for being the bridge between the product team and the coffee community by providing recommendations for home brewers from our range of coffee and equipment.

Job Descriptions

• Manage the front-of-house retail operations of the assigned outlet(s) by PPP Coffee in Singapore
• Responsible for maintaining the look-and-feel of the shop through visual merchandising and daily housekeeping
• Ensure a high standard of service is provided in the store at all times
• Conduct and follow up on requests for in-store demos, events and/or workshops
• Handle all customer queries and feedback in a professional and timely manner
• Manage store inventory and arrange for stock replenishment
• Track, monitor and maintain store inventory and ensure accuracy in monthly stock take
• Participate in regular product trainings and/or workshop
• Provide feedback and/or suggest areas for improvement
• Assist with any other duties as required by the supervisor

Minimum Requirements

• Able to speak fluent English and/or communicate confidently with a diverse group of people
• Keen interest in specialty coffee and brewing equipment
• Service oriented and a team player
• 5-day work week including weekends and public holidays

• Lead, manage and supervise payroll staff
• Handle full scope of payroll activities for more than 700 employees - include monthly payroll and overtime processing, bonuses, bank upload, CPF submission, IR21 and IR8A submission etc and resolve any payroll errors (if any)
• Ensure payroll is completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Prepare monthly payroll-related journal entries, reports and salary reconciliations as well as other weekly, quarterly, monthly payroll reports
• Ensure payroll payments are in accordance with local statutory guidelines and company policies
• Ensure timely submission of IR8A, IR21 tax clearance, government-paid claims, NS make-up claims etc.
• Prepare payroll information and templates for annual budgeting and forecasting
• Review and abide by company policies and procedures
• Monitor the accurate processing of staff appointments, transfers, promotions and terminations
• Assist in coordinating annual increment/bonus exercise
• Coordinate with HR to verify payroll information
• Provide advice and support on payroll related queries to employees
• Review payroll policies and amend procedures when required
• Oversee the preparation of payroll related documents
• Organise current employee data systems
• Assist in Auditor queries, forms, government survey, etc. on payroll related matters
• Performance management of payroll staff for growth within the team
• Other jobs assigned by HOD whenever required

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant Payroll experience
• Immediate starter is preferred

Supervisor Responsibilities

Supervise daily area/department activities in the CSC

Conduct daily work group meetings

Manage allocated labor to maximize productivity

Schedule and control employees to meet labor productivity and overtime targets

Document and follow up on all department processes in order to implement improvements in Ramp, Dispatch and Dishroom

Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standard, FDA, HACCP and other regulations

Equipment and sanitation supervise personnel to maintain proper cleanliness of dishroom

Responsible for the delivery system to the other departments

Maintain the equipment storage room

Transportation ensure on-time and accurate production and/or catering of all flights

Monitor and ensure compliance with ramp safety regulations

Conduct daily manpower planning and adjust as necessary to ensure efficient allocation of labor

Conduct daily safety audits

Ensure all areas of responsibility are properly organized, staffed and directed

Guide, motivate and develop the subordinate employees with the Human Resource Policy

Participate and support company sponsored initiatives such as Quality, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety and Security

Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service or equivalent.

Working hours every day is until 10pm.After passing the trial period, one day off every week.

Able to work on public holidays and weekends.

Able to work on night shift and split shift.
