We are looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef to organize all kitchen’s activities. Menu mainly consists of local cuisine. You will be the first in command in the kitchen and will work closely with the outlet manager. You will create the SOP and ensuring food quality.

Responsibilities

• Create the menu with proper SOP and work together with the Head of Ops for menu food costing.
• Prepare, control and direct food preparation process and any other relative activities
• Approve and “polish” dishes before they reach the customer
• Be responsible on cost management - plans order of equipment or ingredients and labour costs
• Be fully in charge of hiring (with the support of HQ resources), managing and training kitchen staff
• Oversee the work of subordinates
• Compliance of SFA - sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as Head Chef
• Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management
• Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills
• Up-to-date with culinary rends and optimized kitchen processes
• Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Excel, ordering system, POS) – Preferred

• Ensure food item (traditional Asian cuisines) are cooked and plated accurately to specifications
• Maintain proper consistency of food quality and service
• Manage the planning and scheduling of food preparation
• Assist in monthly inventory counts and recording of food wastage
• Ensure area of responsibility are clean, tide and organised
• Ensure general cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation and storage are in accordance with NEA guideline
• Implement plans to ensure efficient use of resources and minimise wastage
• Ensure smooth back-of-house operations and maintenance of kitchen equipment

The Outlet Manager is responsible for the profitability of the outlet. He/she performs outlet-level support functions including customer service, scheduling, day-to day operations, cashiering, loss prevention, maintenance, and back office support. He/she manages inventories, interacts with customers, wait staff and support employees to maximises revenue generation and enhance the customer experience. He/she oversees the recruitment, training, and motivation of staff. He/she maintains high standards of quality control, hygiene, health and safety in the dining area.

Your next opportunity

The Corporate Secretarial Executive will work closely with the Executive Director and Managers in the Corporate Secretarial (CoSec) department to provide overall management of the corporate secretarial work and facilitation as well as internal services of the corporate level and the external liaison work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a portfolio of local private limited companies and branches of foreign companies with minimal supervision.
• Manage all corporate secretarial work related to your portfolio including preparing necessary documents/resolutions, bizfiling, updating statutory registers, liaising with clients, etc.
• Liaise with and advise clients on company formation, annual compliance and ongoing company administration matters.
• Liaising with Registered Agent for incorporation of offshore companies.
• Maintaining and updating companies’ statutory registers, filing of certain specific resolutions with the Company Registrar of various offshore jurisdictions in compliance with the respective statutory requirements of each jurisdiction.
• Performing related ad-hoc assignments pertaining to the role

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of corporate secretarial experience in the Corporate Services Industry or related field
• Minimum Diploma, or Certification of specific major, or equivalent corporate secretarial qualifications
• Meticulous, ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
• Able to work independently and with integrity, with fair and principled temperament with a facilitative and commercial approach to matters.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills when interacting with internal and external clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

The following is a plus:

• Knowledge of BizFile and XBRL will be a plus.
