Role Overview:

Role Responsibilities:

· Continuously analyse trends, trading volumes, and liquidity conditions to adapt liquidity strategies dynamically

· Use internal tools to proactively manage liquidity and associated relationships

· Manage the order book to ensure a tight bid-ask spread which is attractive for traders, reducing slippage and enhancing trading activity

Experience / Competences:

· Has 3+ years' experience in Liquidity Management in electronic markets

· Has experience operating/overseeing electronic solutions for trading (CLOB / RFQ / Dark Pool)

· Understands / has experience with post trade settlement and clearing workflows (bilateral, centrally cleared)

· Preference for experience with FIX/REST API’s

· Has extensive experience managing and developing client relationships

· Dynamic self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit

· Willingness to engage with internal and external stakeholders outside of the immediate desk environment

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Balyasny Asset Management is seeking an experienced Senior Associate/ Director, Compliance for the Asia region. As the Senior Associate/ Director, Compliance, the employee will report to the firm’s Head of Asia Compliance and would be responsible for development, implementation, management, and oversight of the firm’s Compliance program in relation to its’ business in the Asia region. The responsibilities will include providing compliance counsel to investment staff on research and trading related matters and regulations adopted by the SFC, JFSA, KFB, MAS and others, maintain a strong compliance presence within, and provide compliance oversight for, the regional offices, assist with the review of marketing materials, complete and submit regulatory filings and conduct compliance training for local HK and Singapore staffs.

In the role of Senior Associate/ Director, Compliance, the employee will be responsible for, among others, the following:

• Provide direct support to the Head of Asia Compliance to manage the compliance priorities for the Asia region;
• Maintain a strong compliance presence within, and provide compliance oversight for all regional offices in Asia;
• Provide research and trading related compliance counsel to the investment staff in relation to day to day business matters;

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant compliance experience working for Fund Managers and/or Regulatory Bodies in Asia.
• Within this, minimum 3 years of compliance experience working at a multistrategy hedge fund.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Macro Analyst/Senior Analyst/Associate PM will report to a Macro Portfolio Manager as part of a team investing across Equity and FX Volatility and Correlation with a Macro and Relative Value approach spanning Asian, European and US markets.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Working alongside Portfolio Manager whose strategy focuses primarily on Equity and FX Volatility and Correlation with a Macro and Relative Value approach spanning Asian, European and US markets
· Help manage front to back trade execution to confirmation of risk in the portfolio
· Executing and managing trades on the Portfolio Manager’s behalf
· Conducting in-depth analysis on volatility arbitrage, dispersion, correlation, relative value and global macro strategies
· Managing and expanding relationships with counterparties across all jurisdictions
· Rebalancing the portfolio periodically
· Expense management (trading cost analysis, brokerage costs, technology, etc.)
· Ad hoc analytical projects involving Excel, VBA, SQL, Python

REQUIREMENTS
· In-depth understanding of volatility and correlation products and strategies across multiple asset classes
· A Degree in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance or similar
· Minimum 5 years of experience at a buy-side and/or sell-side financial firm in trading or quantitative analysis of Equity, FX and/or Rates products
