Job Profile Summary

An opportunity has arisen for an Analyst/Associate position in Transaction Management Office (TMO) within the Trade & Commodity Finance team in Singapore. A key role to provide strong support to the TCF Singapore Business Unit in servicing clients’ needs through close co-operation with TCF Account Officer (TCF AO) and the various internal dept. including Trade Operations and the Lending Operations amongst others.

Primary responsibility of the TMO includes daily execution of clients’ transactions, ensuring transactions are financed within approved credit facilities supported by the appropriate collateral, closely follow-up and monitor transaction risk / collateral throughout the life cycle of the deal.

Job Responsibilities:

I) Management of Transactions

• Effective and timely management of transactions including approval process.
• Close collaboration with TCF AO, credit risk department, various operation supporting units and clients.
• Perform independent transactional risk analysis including evaluation of its associated collateral quality and performance risks reference to the approved credit facilities and general guidelines or procedures.
• Explore risk mitigating measures providing financing solutions to clients via active discussions with TCF AO on the observed modus operandi of the client, trade flow, facility utilization patterns, etc. on both transactional deal and during annual credit reviews
• Work with external partners, such as, but not limited to storage facility operators, clearing brokers, insurance underwriters.
• Ensure transactions are in adherence with Compliance & related policies.

II) Management of System, Trade Life Cycle and administration matters.

This includes but not limited to:

• Management of core system, not limiting to settling of facility for each client as per approved terms and conditions and timely update of transaction information and exposures in the position report.
• Monitor and manage supporting collaterals including assessment of the collateral quality; perform the appropriate collateral valuation including paper hedges relating to the physical cargo throughout the life cycle of the transaction.
• Handle clients’ daily cash flow transactions including deposits, remittances and attend to enquiries from clients.
• Participate in Collateral value reporting, ad-hoc reporting, ad-hoc projects or assignments, commercial and clients’ meetings where necessary

• Responsible for the day-to-day facilities and maintenance operations of existing facilities.
• Facilitate and ensure contractors/vendors complete repair and maintenance work to required timelines and standards.
• Participating in new built project, assist in project management role during the design, tender, construction and post construction stages of the projects.
• Participate in design specifications and prototype workshops, and coordinate the user acceptance test, user training, user change management, pre-implementation preparation and post-implementation support activities.
• Knowledge of using computer aided management software in facilities maintenance.
• Coordinate, supervise and assist in major renovations, additions and alterations works, capital replacement works and the like to successful completion.
• Coordinate work as necessary with other departments to minimize inconvenience to operations, anticipate safety problems and operating expenses.
• Managing of outsource vendors and contractors including tracking and feedback of their performance and quality of services.
• Facilitate the supervision of operation staffs, through training and guidance. Planning and overseeing the manpower deployment (roster and scheduling) of staff in the department.
• Participate in Fire Safety management, training and exercises. Assist to set up and maintain the CERT teams for all the branches.

Qualification

• Holds a Diploma/Degree in Facilities/Building Management/Engineering or a relevant field.
• Min 2 to 3 years of Facilities magement experience in healthcare industry will be an advantage

Job Requirement:

· At least 4 years of relevant working experience with housekeeping background, facilities and technical knowledge

· Prefer previous experience as an operations executive (Rooms) in the hospitality sector such as hotels, resorts and country clubs

· Experience in ISO compliance or audit is preferred

· Able to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment and pressure

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRS system

· Time management and meticulous with minimal supervision
